We had an amazing time looking after Arthur and Snow! Sam was extremely accommodating and even invited us to dinner the night before our sit so we could get to know her. She also picked us up from the train station which we are really grateful for! Arthur is honestly the sweetest dog, he loves company and barely left my side which we loved. Snow is super easy going and also loves pats and a cuddle. Super cosy place to stay with everything you could need. Highly recommend housesitting here if you are lucky enough to get the chance :)

Gorgeous and peaceful! My time with the sweet Shadow was a treat (& Pamela was a sweetheart for leaving me some treats!). I wish I had more time there because it was restful. I met Pamela before she left and felt so welcomed and comfortable. Pamela also gave me lots of recommendations on places to see and also for camping and hiking. Shadow is super chill and easy to care for, and is hilarious to watch when he gets the zoomies! He loves being brushed, and rolls all over while you do it..so cute! Great, safe area and I loved that I could park my car right outside the house in the driveway. The house is adorable and I loved being able to watch the birds through the big windows. Light-filled, airy and cozy vibes!
Highly recommend!

A huge thank you to Jacqueline & Richard for being flexible & making the housesit work at such a weird time.
They were great company & were kind enough to cook a lovely meal on the evening of our arrival. The next morning Richard took us & the dogs on a walk to familiarise us with the area.
From the door the walks are beautiful, across green fields with drystone walls, lots of sheep & lovely views.
We really enjoyed our time with Beulah & Tally, they are so different from each other, but get on really well together.
The cottage is very comfortable, it’s in a great location & has a lovely big garden.
We would highly recommend this housesit & would love to return.

I loved looking after the guinea pigs so much, they are so adorable and snuggly. Norbert the tortoise was also a delight and it was fun watching him move around his run. The animals are very well cared for and have lots of space to roam around in. Lewes itself is a very pretty town a close train ride from Brighton if you want some excitement but also right next to lots of beautiful walks.
I didn't have Snowy the dog, I can imagine it is more of a busy placement if dog walks also have to be factored in. As it was, this was a perfect placement and I had a lovely time, thanks Jo and Eva :)
