I had a pleasant, entertaining stay with Charlie, Macchia, and Calico. I love that they are able to go outside and I enjoyed watching them hunt insects in the backyard. Charlie and Macchia were pretty friendly from the start, while Calico was a bit aloof. I just gave her some space and she begin to warm up to me. They were all delightful and easy to care for. Sarah and Yari were perfect hosts! They were friendly and easy to communicate with throughout the sit. Their beautiful home was clean and their two robot vacuums made it easy to keep that way. Before I arrived they provided me with detailed information about the kitty's personalities, the house, and recommendations for the area. They did everything they could to make sure I had a comfortable and smooth stay. I definitely enjoyed my time in Cardiff and I would happily look after Charlie, Macchia, and Calico again.
Leigh and Kali were welcoming and made me feel like home. I enjoyed my stay at their place and taking care of their pets. Dean and Hank are pretty chill dogs and don't need much attention as Leigh mentioned in the listing but they are full of excitement and love getting rubs if they find you near to them. I barely got to see Temi and Tigar was everywhere in the house :) And chickens were the easiest ones. Woods in their yard just made my whole experience full of tranquility. I would love to watch the house/pets again and definitely recommend this sit to everyone. Thank you once again.
AMAZING HOME IN THE ROCKIES WITH THE SWEETEST PETS! Cheryl was excellent with communication and their home was super clean and comfortable. Rocky and Birdie are very well behaved and loving dogs. Summer is a chill and beautiful cat. Highly recommend this quiet mountain escape!
Roti is an old and quiet doggy who loves going on walks and knows exactly where he wants to go ! He is very sweet and took his medecine without any problem. He had some stomach issue but managed it very well (no inside accident). Because Brooke had already left when we arrived, he was a little anxious at the beginning, seeing a strange woman "break in" into his home. It took him about 30 min to feel more at ease with me, and he accepted José very well after meeting him outside. The apartment has plenty of light. It was clean and confortable. The area is great and there are many options to go on a walk (Roti will show you around!). Stuttgart wasn't the nicest at this time of the year, but it is great for shopping and has many cafés. Brooke was very helpful and her explainations were easy to follow. She was easily reachable and it was nice being in touch with her. She made our stay very easy by preparing Roti's food. We had a great time with sweet Roti and we will miss him a lot !
Julie and I had such a wonderful time with Ike and Layla. Ike loved being by himself however allowed moments of closeness. Layla is perhaps one of the most loving dogs that we have ever taken care of. The area in which the home is located was perfect to reach any point of the city. Everything about the home quickly became familiar and comfortable. Given the opportunity to sit Layla and Ike again would be a no brainer. It was a truly delightful experience.
We met Pamela prior to her trip to get the keys and go over any instructions. She was very nice, easy going and relaxed. Nala, her Bengal cat was lovely to be around. She was very laid back and spent most of her time in the bedroom. She really loved to be brushed - for however long you could do it! It was our first house sit and it was a great experience. Pamela's apartment is right in the heart of Kitsilano with lots to do - restaurants and shopping and only 10 walk to the beach. Great location!
