Craig & Lesley 18th February - 25th March 2023 I have just sat down to write a review for Craig and Lesley, but have just read their previous review left by Andrew & Donelle, who seem to have absolutely hit the nail on the head. We live on a farm in the Scottish Borders, which is a small community of 13 houses, and on our return, the reaction from everybody here is that they are a delightful couple, and how well they just fitted in and took a real interest in the estate, the livestock and horses. We have of course also been told how wonderful they were with Nel, our 3 year old Vizsla, and that they could be seen walking at all times of day in all weathers. Right from the outset, their communications were great, even taking the trouble to call in and see us prior to our departure. We also received updates and the odd photo from time to time, as well as a quick response if we dropped them an occasional WhatsApp. Whilst we thought the house was clean and tidy when we left, it looked as though it had been professionally cleaned on our return. The house was immaculate, and other than that, there was no trace of them ever having being here! We had total confidence in them before we left, and are so grateful to them for sitting for us. We would be delighted to see them again, either for just a visit, or for another stay on the farm with Nel. However I suspect we may be at the back of a long queue for another house sit - very regrettably. 5 stars in every respect. Thanks so much Craig and Lesley, and good luck with future house sits.
