Gail was a fab host, she made us feel very welcome and had a lovely clean home. Molly & Merlin were excellent dogs to look after. Molly is the ultimate lapdog she loves to cuddle, be by yourside and has the sweetest nature. Merlin is a big sweetheart, he is very playful and lots of fun to be around. We loved looking after these well behaved doggies and hope to see them again in the future!
Jerry and Roger were so sweet, snuggly, and overall really easy cats! Caroline is also awesome, really responsive to any and all questions I had and provided me with a super thorough welcome guide! The area is also beautiful, close to bakeries, restaurants, shopping and cafes! I’d easily go back anytime and recommend this sit to anyone looking! I also really appreciated having the home office to work from with a monitor too, made it really convenient.
We had a wonderful time at Molly and Mike's place! They were incredibly hospitable and available whenever we had questions. The house is situated high up on a mountain and offers breathtaking views from the decks. I enjoyed my mornings sipping coffee and attending virtual meetings from the deck. Taking care of Shadow and Troy was a breeze and a lot of fun. Shadow still has some puppy tendencies and enjoys chewing, but giving her one of her toys quickly solves that. We spent a lot of time at Muir Beach playing with the ball, and Shadow was amazing. She was so focused on the ball that she would always come back to me and didn't pay much attention to other people or dogs. Troy is a delightful cat. He went in and out throughout the day but always ended up cuddling with us at night. All in all, we really enjoyed our stay and would love to come back in the future!
Sitting for Flora was a lovely experience in all ways. She is a gorgeous Calico cat with a set routine which is easy to follow. She was a treasure and a joy to care for. I was staying on my own for most of the week and she was excellent company, watching me work and coming by for a tickle and stroke with lots of miaowing and loud purring. Dave joined me for a couple of nights midweek and she warmed to him immediately and cuddled up to him watching the TV and reading. Erica gave me a very warm welcome the afternoon before she left. We ran through Flora's routine and all the house information before a tasty supper. Communication throughout the sit and regarding return arrangements etc was easy. The house is very comfortable, quiet and warm and l/we slept very well in the comfy bed. The location is just excellent with shops, pubs, cafes and restaurants nearby. Parking very near the house was free and easy. There are lovely walks along the river, through the local parks and all over and, of course, Hampton Court palace is 10 mins away. Public transport around the area and into central London is very easy. Trains taking about 30 mins into Waterloo leave Hampton Court station (Zone 6, and 8 mins walk from the house) every 30 mins. Buses leave from the end of the road, very close by. Overall, it has been an absolute pleasure to meet Erica and Flora and we hope to sit for them again soon. Highly recommended!
Cherine and Tommy are an incredibly warm and welcoming couple - we enjoyed sitting for a chat before they left (and left us with yummy treats!). The house is in a fabulous location and walking distance to green spaces, the city and big shops. And the puppies were boisterous and delightfully affectionate. We enjoyed lots of cuddles on the couch! Thanks for having us! :)
Savina, her home and her lovable English Bull dogs (both will be a year old in May 2023) are a wonderful TH pet sit. Her home overlooks the Carquinez strait, quiet, with lovely appointments. The pups are very friendly, playful and loyal companions and I spent two great weeks caring for them. Savina posted a very accurate TH pet listing and it was very easy to communicate with her before and during the sit.
