Kyle is a terrific house and dog sitter. He took excellent care of our dog, kept the garden and houseplants watered and left the house in pristine condition. We have already asked him to return for our next travel. Kyle kept our dog Cliff exercised and entertained and received great reviews from our pet-owning friends who observed Kyle working with Cliff. Kyle kept us posted with texts and photos of the dog's activities. Kyle and Cliff have bonded and their mutual affection is sweet to see.
My kids and I had a wonderful time sitting for Tammy and her crew! Remi was a constant companion, both gentle and kind. My kids visited with the Girls (chickens) for at least two hours each day. Oreo and Iggy were easy going and fun to watch. Tammy’s home was beautifully clean and safe. Backyard views were stunning. We loved watching fireflies light up the yard and surrounding farmland each evening. Super close to everything an outdoor loving family desires. 55mins to Big Meadows and tons of hiking on Skyline Drive then 30mins to excellent hikes in George Washington Forest. If schedules permit in the future we would happily reapply for a return sit :-)
I really enjoyed my time with Minnie, a funny, chatty boy, playful and full of cuddles. Sometimes home a lot, quite often out having adventures. Minnie absolutely loves his grooming pampers, just a big softie, I adored him. I live locally and am delighted to have been invited back for another sit with Minnie. I arrived the day before Bridget and Douglas's departure. I was thoroughly briefed on Minnie's needs and ways and enjoyed a spot of dinner together. As Bridget and Douglas are keen travellers, they have finely tuned great written tips and instruction notes, much appreciated. The house is very comfortable... spacious, warm and bright. Semi rural, over looking fields and hills. Stunning views of both sunrise and sunset. I was able to watch hares, and pheasants in the garden, enchanting! Having a car makes life easy, as the nearby bus stop is a little bit of a walk, maybe 10 mins on a quiet road, frequented by friendly neighbourhood dog walkers. By no means a great effort. I had a very chilled and relaxed stay with Minnie, Bridget and I chatted on whatsapp every few days and I was happy to keep them up to date with pictures of Minnie's antics. I highly recommend everything about this sit, do not hesitate is you're invited!
I had a great few days in Cambridge with Fluffball. Katie and John were really welcoming and sent me useful information in advance as well as giving me straightforward instructions on handover. Everything was really well organised and their home and garden were a very nice place to spend time in. Fluffball is a lovely furry friend, easy to look after and a pleasure to spend time with. I would recommend this housesit (and this cat).
I had a wonderful time at Caroline and Denis' house. The house has everything you need and is wonderfully located for exploring the Camargue, Provence, Côte Bleue, Marseille and the Calanques. Anyone who loves peace and quiet will enjoy the silence and colors in the garden, by the pool, on the terrace or in the hammock. The two cats, Mina and Marou, are always nearby and enjoy human attention very much. They decide when you can approach them and then they can be very trusting and playful. They are easy-care cats. As sibling cats, they are one heart and one soul who also like to cuddle together. Caroline and Denis are uncomplicated, very communicative, warm and understanding. A sitting in their home is a great gift. Merci beaucoup!
Sitting for Stella was a beautiful experience. She is such a sweet dog ! I that the pleasure of bonding with her the minute we saw each other, so we developed a beautiful friendship. The apartment it’s great , located in one of the most beautiful neighborhoods of Brussels. Lots of parks around and public transportation was super easy to move around. Alexandra was lovely, easy to talk to and super helpful providing information about what to do around. I’m grateful for this experience and will always have Stella in my heart. Who knows maybe one day I have the pleasure of seeing her again 💛
