Heather and Keith are caring and generous hosts. They invited me to arrive at their home the day before their departure and stay until the day after their return. My room was private and comfortable, with a full ensuite bathroom. The chickens were easy to take care of, requiring only a few minutes in the morning and again in the evening. There are lots of plants to water in dry weather, but the reward is an inviting yard to relax in and I was encouraged to help myself to fresh vegetables. With bike lanes connecting to downtown Victoria and several bus routes within a block of the house, my car remained parked in the driveway for most of my stay. I would definitely recommend house sitting for Heather and Keith.
Millie and Huck are an awesome duo✨ How charming to spend time at Millie's London flat! The communication was quite enjoyable and simple with her. We met prior to the sitting for a debrief, which was pleasant, and it was great meeting them both. Huck is the softest cat you'll ever pet! He's very elegant, likes to talk, which I enjoyed a lot :) He's very energetic in the morning; it's a fun moment to play with him! The flat is so well located, absolutely gorgeous and comfortable. I'd be lucky to book this pet sitting again! 😻 Thank you for your trust Millie 😇
Hannah had the house ready for me- just like I was on vacation. The dogs, Pepper and Feather were adorable. Pepper is calm and a great companion. Feather is lively! If you get the chance to care for these dogs, do so.
Tinker and Rascal are absolutely awesome - we can't stress enough how much fun looking after them was. Not only are they utterly beautiful but they are very playful, vocal and affectionate. We loved snuggling with them on the sofa, having them snooze on our bed in the mornings, and listening to their crazy cat chats! Danny and Jackie were great communicators - sometimes involving the cats in their video instructions! - and their house is very cosy and well appointed. The house is a little bit away from the station and Tring centre but these are both walkable and there's a good local cab firm. There are some great restaurants around Tring high street and some nice things to do such as walks around the nearby reservoir and visit the Natural History Museum. We are already missing our little tigers and hope to look after them again!
Thank you Lesley, Simba, Olivia, Smudge and Peanut for sharing your home with me. Amazing location and experience, the furr babies were a pleasure to care for and Lesley was beyond helpful and accommodating. I’ll miss you all, and I’ll miss Gibraltar too. Thanks again and much love. X
