I highly recommend this sit ! Anne and Jean are super welcoming and happy to share their travel/life experiences. Their house is a great place to relax, surrounded by nature (One morning, I saw a baby deer running in the back of the house!). Woodin, Plume and Kitty are super friendly. They are so cute together! They play together and sleep in the same bed. Thank you Anne and Jean for your trust, I hope to come and sit again soon !
It was overall a pleasure petsitting/housesitting for Jaclyn. She was a very helpful and friendly host, and her dogs were a pleasure to be spending time with. Upon arriving, my guitar, guitar case, and keyboard stand were stolen as I was loading belongings in. I filed a police report but no findings. This created a frustrating start to this petsit, and I also at times felt uncomfortable walking around the neighborhood after this happened. Jaclyn was helpful in communication when I let her know this happened. I'd recommend that any sitter keep close watch on things, especially when arriving and carrying in any personal belongings. I'd recommend having the sitter pull in the driveway when arriving and departing with carrying in any belongings, with gate/fence closed. Being behind the gate may help, but someone could still try to steal things regardless unfortunately. Despite this, I still enjoyed my stay there.
Two precious chaweenies. We had a great time at carols, such a lovely and quaint house with lots of character. Great location too. Fell in love with coral and frida, very timid at first but once they got to know you, they would get so excited everytime they saw us. They love licking but carol said not to encourage that. They also loved to cuddle, anywhere you sat down one of them was there to jump on your lap. Small dogs to easier to care for. Only thing is their recall isn’t great, especially not at first when they don’t trust you yet. My advice would be just to take them on long walks/runs and keep them on lead online. Otherwise super easy dogs, thank you carol, we loved our stay!
James provided all the information we needed for an easy stay. Pooey was very friendly and cuddly while Boy was quite shy but easy to take care of. James regularly checked in to make sure all was well and his house was well equipped for a smooth stay.
We absolutely loved our stay with Falco and Rose in the alps! Sam’s communication was fantastic, and we immediately felt at ease in her beautiful home. Rose and Falco are adorable and a dream to look after. They are both so well immersed into mountain life that they more or less look after themselves! They are relaxed, affectionate and very well behaved. The location of course is stunning, and the abode incredibly comfortable and cosy. Thank you Sam for the opportunity and we hope to have the opportunity to look after Falco and Rose again!
We really enjoyed our sit with Willow. She’s such a sweet dog that will cuddle and stay around you. Willow is very easy going and the walk in Epping forest was just perfect for the weekend. Giuseppe and Annika were very friendly and helpful. Their place is really nice and comfortable with a big garden. We would totally recommend this sit!
