I had a fantastic time sitting for Nauset and Skaket, missing them already! I highly recommend sitting for these two if you ever get the chance. They have wonderful, loving, calm, sweet personalities. They are very easy to care for and fun to spend time with. They like to play, be petted and brushed, have your attention and love from time to time, yet they do quite a bit of sleeping. Leslie and Janel were wonderful to meet and communicate with throughout their travels. They are very positive, genuine, and generous people. Their home is very clean, well decorated, with all the regular amenities you'd expect. The bed was extremely comfortable to sleep on. The location was great too. You can get to many different grocery stores and shops in 10-15 minutes, yet the neighborhood itself is quiet, peaceful, and spacious. There are local neighborhood hikes and as Santa Fe is pretty small, you can get to any city location or trail in 30 minutes or less. If you find yourself with the opportunity to care for Skaket and Nauset, go for it. You will have a great time.
Melissa and Buddy were a delight! Melissa invited me to come the day before her departure so I could meet Buddy and become familiar with his routines and the house. Her instructions were clear and easy to follow. Buddy adapted easily to the change. He fell asleep in my lap and loved his tummy rubs. Melissa's home is lovely. The setting and neighborhood were beautiful. Several neighbors introduced themselves as Buddy and I were out walking and offered to be of assistance if needed. Melissa made dinner for me and made me feel more than welcome and appreciated. Melissa answered my text messages promptly and stayed in touch throughout the stay. My only regret is that I didn't stay longer! You will love this sit!
I had a lovely stay at Tracy's home with 3 lovely furry friends, all of them with their own special personalities, cuddles, purrs and company. It was a joy to spend time with them in a stunning location and was just what I needed after a very stressful and busy time, it was like a retreat for me! There are lots of things you can do in the area, or you can rest and enjoy the view and the company. Tracy was lovely and helpful with any questions and the house was really lovely too. Thank you x
Libby’s flat is gorgeous, very tidy and clean in an amazing location. Her cat Edie is one of the most intelligent cats I have ever seen. She is very sweet too and a great company. There are plants and fish at the flat that need to be cared for but very easy to do. I would love to sit again and recommend her entirely!
The lovely glamorous Lorraine and the sweet smiley Stephen welcomed us with such warmth. They're kind, down to earth and just absolutely lovely. They showed us around, gave us a run down of where things are, and what was needed from us during our stay. Lorraine had even treated us to a delicious slow cooked chilli, which we ate for dinner, lunch and breakfast! Wow was it tasty! Lorraine and Stephen's home is such a warm, cozy and comfortable place to relax. The area in which is located is absolutely stunning, with loads of walks! Poppy, once she's come our of her shy shell (all of an hour ot two), is like popping popcorn - she's so energetic, regularly dashing round the room enticing you to play with her and she loves when you gently blow in her face. She's hilarious! Teddy is aptly named because he is the cuddliest teddy doggy ever! There are never enough cuddles for this little dude. We loved the way he would just dive onto your lap, throw himself onto his back and wait for tummy tickles. The sweetest, most loving pup you'll ever meet. Penny, well this gorgeous little girl is so beyond precious. She took a few hours to suss us out. Understandably, with her past, she's a little more wary of new people. But when she realises she's safe, protected and loved, she becomes quite demanding of cuddles and strokes. She is so funny with her treats, which she'll either hide in her bed or between a blanket, or she throws it around and plays with it before munching away on it. We would absolutely love love love to spend more time with these perfect, adorable and such easy to love fluffies again in the future.
