We had a lovely time looking after Tina, Panda and the chickens! The dogs were easy to look after, loving and well behaved. Despite them getting on in age, they have plenty of personality. Edward and Bex's home is lovely. Clean, cosy and in a beautiful location. Not far from the beach and has lovely walks all around. I highly recommend this housesit and would be happy to look after Tina, Panda and the chickens again.
It was a pleasure to look after Demelza and Paula's lovely home and wonderful bulldog puppy, Loki. There home is perfectly located between Penzance and St Ives with 360° views of the countryside and coast. The house is well equipped and comfortable. Demelza and Paula were welcoming from the start and gave us a thorough tour before leaving for their holiday. Communication was easy with them. We very much enjoyed looking after Loki. He has a great personality, is full of energy and enthusiasm to play. He is well behaved for a puppy and generally seemed chilled. He loves a cuddle and being made a fuss of. He is great to take for a walk and doesn't bark much - he just takes it all in his stride. We have dubbed him 'the Fonz' as he is cool. We would highly recommend sitting for Demelza and Paula and we would love to sit for them again. Thank you for a wonderful sit.
First Id like to confirm information from previous reviews by stating what a joy it is to have such a charming family where all welcome you and engage in the hand over, from the 2 charming daughters, hubby James and of course Nicola. It all helps one in feeling at ease making this an enjoyable sit from the start. Weather permitting, breakfast was had sitting on one of the swing benches enjoying the open wide views on to the South Downs. Morning strolls were taken down to the expansive, two fenced-in fields below. (I’d like to say their part of the garden grounds!) There’s a couple of turned over tree trunks to climb up on and sit. I enjoyed the view watching Indy as well as reading a book for a while! Afternoon walks were had through the moat and around to the farm shop. this was straight from the house. (Farm shop only open from Wednesday to Saturday.) Most importantly, all this was enjoyed with the pleasure of having Indy to share my days by my side. A truly precious, fun loving, well trained dog. I would of loved to of taken her home with me. Rest of the afternoons Indy and self were able to relax and play together, lapping up the surrounding large gardens. The 2 cats would appear and join us. The chickens could be seen nearby where they enjoyed having their dust bath. If it rained then it was cosy afternoons in the large comfortable den area off the kitchen. The feeding of the animals is straight forward. If one of the cats was not around at the time of feeding then I would put a small dish over there bowl until they turned up. Indy has could recall. Do take the whistle as this does help if you can’t see where she is. Being a Lurcher she will sniff out rabbits and take of very fast. She does come racing back. The house is kept well organised,Clean and tidy. Thank you dear Nicola and family for entrusting me to take care of your charming home as well as all the furry ones. It truly was a pleasure. With big hugs from Melita xxxx
Our stay with the Gray family was so peaceful and relaxing. Audrey took a minute to warm up to the kids and Finnbar barely showed his face when they were up. Audrey eventually accepted us as her own and all 3 shared the bed with us at night. I liked coming in to find Ivan tucked up under the blankets and all cosy. The home is beautiful and the outdoors so tranquil. I’d recommend this home to anyone for a great pet sit. Lorraine made sure we knew the ropes before she left and communicated with us well while away.
Sitting for Ann's cat Amber and home was a lovely peaceful place to be and very easy. Ann was contactable for my queries and left me in comfort. Thank you Ann.
My daughter and I had a wonderful sit in north London for Hana and her cuties! Hana was totally easy to communicate with the entire process, and Joey, Boris, and Simba are so fun and cute as can be! We didn’t get a chance to see Nala because she is shy. ☺️ I highly recommend this sit!
