Katy started out fairly well, but was unable to complete the sit, causing us quite a bit of stress as we were out of the country. It doesn't seem that she was able to give the proper love and attention to the animals, as she was dealing with her own issues. She may do fine on short sits and we wish her well.
Josh was great. When we had passport issues that necessitated shuffling the dates of our trip two or three times, he took it all in stride. Then, for the sit itself, since he was doing another sit in the area, he stopped by ahead of time to meet me and the dogs and to get a feel for the place. The dogs were completely comfortable with him immediately, and he with them. While we were gone, he took good care of the place and the pets, and even watered a plant that he noticed was dry, even though I had forgotten to put anything about the plants in my instructions. We came home to a clean house, with laundered bed linens and happy dogs. I highly recommend Josh, and would happily use him again, if he's available.
Max was very communicative, self sufficient, and left the apartment clean and tidy. I was out of network coverage for most of my vacation, but Max sent the updates both by text and email to make sure I get them! When I missed my return flight, Max also graciously agreed to check in on Layla for an additional night which I really appreciated! I’m glad to come home to a happy cat and clean home, and would recommend Max for any pet care needs!
