Housesitting is an awesome opportunity to meet great people, the cutest pets, great locations and lovely neighbors. And Adelina combines it all! She is an incredible person, with a straightforward and decisive attitude, always prompt to respond to any of our queries, and ready to provide to us with everything we could possibly need in order to ensure the most comfortable stay! We are so grateful for her to have trusted us to look after beloved Rupert, which was very shy at the first few days but then showed to be, as she had previously mentioned, the most playful and affectionate rabbit ever! He will be with you around wherever you are! Her home is so cozy and comfy, Victor and I spent hours on end on her very comfy living room, we loved it! Her neigbors are the most lovely people ever! We've met Freddie and Betty, the dogs nextdoor, the neighbor on the left side who told me off for pruning her flowery bush (I promise I won't do that again, although there will soon be new branches that will grow fast and healthy!), and Mick, always the kindest person who gifted me with a personalized card picturing the building, the most gorgeous thing ever! Ashtead has such nice places to visit in the surroundings! Her home is literally 5 minutes strolling to the train station, who leads to London in less than 45 minutes. We couldn't expect anything better than that! Such an amazing experience! Thank you dearly for trusting us, Adelina!
It was an easy going housesit with the old, gentle lady Kymba. The apartment is located very well and you can reach everything in walking distance.
Are you ready to meet three silly kitties? Tilly is silly 24/7. She is the most social of the bunch, and loves to spend time with you on the porch. If you're a work from homer like us, taking advantage of the ability to work on the porch and enjoy the wonderful view of the lake, you'll likely find her meandering under your seat asking for pets. She likes watching the birds and wildlife as much as us, and we keep each other in good company. Isis is...22! But in good shape, She can still jump on the highest level of the cat tree, and she loves to sunbathe. She's generally quiet and sleeps a lot, but when awake, she knows what she wants and can announce it with her insistent mews for treats and wet food :) She's still a good eater! Mama Cass is the most elusive, which is funny because she looks the toughest of the bunch, but.. she is cautious. Her white fur suits her, because she is like a ghost - wondering in and out of the door frame between the garage - her lair - and the rest of the home - sneaking peeks and bites of the wet food laid there. It feels a privilege to catch a special viewing of MC. Penny's home is lovely! She was kind to leave us a gift of lovely smelling bath wash and lotion. She has a good nose! The home is well organized and has all of the amenities you need to cook a meal and enjoy an evening with her large TV, watching movies. My husband and I worked from home while there and the internet was reliable and fast! The home is fun with its beachy vibe, and we are grateful to Penny for hosting us!
Wendy and Owen (and, of course, Mr. Alfie) were great hosts. Their were all kinds of great little parks, paths, and neighborhoods to explore. I really liked the shops in the Cricklewood neighborhood, too—colorful and eclectic. Alfie is a character, and a great winter cuddler.😊
This was such an enjoyable sit. Woody and Alfie are a real joy to spend time with, such a lovely pair. Communication with Mouse was great, she has a wonderful house with a beautiful garden surrounded by countryside. Everything is easy and well organised. Highly recommended and I would happily sit again
