Jackie
Jackie invited me to look after her gorgeous home and even more gorgeous cats while she was on holiday. Plans had to change, but she was still able to go away, and I got to look after Rosie and Freddi, albeit for only 4 days, rather than the full week as posted.

The girls are not lapsitters, but they do love attention, and being fussed. They talk a lot, and are happy when they're near you, usually on the back of the sofa. They aren't any trouble at all.

The house is on the edge of a village, with a pub/restaurant not too far away, but there isn't much else, so transport is needed. I found that once I was in, I had everything I needed. Jackie had left me great instructions, as well as walking me round. She also left me mince pies and Christmas cake!! I found watching the woodpeckers working one of the older trees really interesting, and the sheep in the orchard were fun too. When the mist lifted, the views of the Mendips were lovely, and oh! The sunsets!

A great break, in a fantastic location, with lovely cats. Perfect. Thank you Jackie!

The most amazing housesit we did so far. Megan know how to makes amazing atmosphere and everyone around being comfortable. The conversation was super easy and we are excited to talk more again!

And now - pets! The most amazing dogs Camper & Frannie who are so loving and sweet. They love to play ball and they are best friends ever! Cats Origami & George are the sweetest things ever. I absolutely adore them and can’t wait for our next sit :)

We loved everything about this experience and I can highly highly recommend this opportunity!

Mark
Mark and Sweet Pea were such a delight to house sit for. Mark always responded quickly if I had any questions and cared about me being comfortable in his home. The house is located in a perfect location with a beautiful yard and even a pool to relax in during the summer months. I miss Sweet Pea everyday!!! He loves playing and going on his neighborhood walks. Such a well behaved dog to cuddle with and lounge at the pool. I would definitely Pet sit for Mark again!!

Darren
Darren and Laura's house-sitting was one of my best! Darren, Laura, and their 4 lovely children are the warmest and most welcoming owners you can have. Their house is really comfy and has a lovely mix of English and french charm. There is plenty of walks to enjoy your time with Connie and Robbie, the two energic dogs (they are also your best cuddle buddies). You will also have the chance to meet Emilio, the cute cat, the nap worldwide champion. And if you are patient enough, you will probably see little hamster Hambi, coming out of his little hiding place. In a nutshell: the little farm is the best opportunity to have a great place to discover the Deux-Sèvres, relax and enjoy a nice time. Thank you again!!

Cecilia
It was an absolute pleasure to housesit for Cecilia and her family. They gave us such a warm and friendly welcome and made us feel at ease straight away.

Communication throughout was faultless and appreciated especially given these uncertain times.

The dogs are so lovable, and huge! Something to bear in mind if you’re not used to large dogs. Sparta the kitten is the boss, and just delightful. We thoroughly enjoyed our time there and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this sit.

This sit was far too short but I loved every minute. Borth is my childhood home and has not changed a bit in 40 years so it was an emotional trip. The dogs were great and we enjoyed riverside walks where it was quieter than the beach at Bank Holiday so I could let them run and play freely. The house is being renovated but nevertheless was clean and comfortable. My room was just lovely with one window looking over the mountains where the sun rose and the opposite one looking to the sea and the sunset - perfect! I do hope I get the opportunity to return.
