Kathy & Steven are a lovely couple who welcomed me and my cousin into their home. They were always readily available when I had questions and provided on time feedback on how make them most comfortable with the sit. Their dog Lucy is a big lover and all the cats were so fun to play with! We gave Lucy about 3 walks a day. The trails near their home are stunning and tranquil. If you are selected for this amazing opportunity, it is best to stay in the area. The longest we were away from the home was 4 hours (mostly to get groceries & go to the gym) as the animals have a routine. This worked out lovely because their home is a calm and rejuvenating space with the most fun animals. You won’t want to leave!

I had a wonderful week looking after gorgeous Gilbert in Marble Arch! Gilbert is very chilled around the flat and I miss his gentle snoring already! It was lovely being so close to Hyde Park, where Gilbert loves the sniffs and having a roll on the fresh grass. We enjoyed daily walks there and also shorter ambles to nearby Grosvenor Square in the afternoons. The communal garden at the back of the flat is beautiful. Gilbert can be quite strong on the lead but Sarah and I went for a 'practice walk' where she showed me how to manage this, so this was fine. Sarah's flat is very comfortable and has everything you might need. She made me feel very welcome and lent me her Royal Academy membership card so I could go to the exhibitions there which was really kind. Communication was good - I went the day before the sit started and Sarah showed me where everything was and I sent regular updates and a few photos of Gilbert. I highly recommend looking after Gilbert in this great location!
A very peaceful location with 2 well-behaved dogs. Tim and Phillipa were very welcoming and easy to communicate with. We were provided with very clear and helpful information. There are plenty of walks from the door, routes were included in the information provided. The garden is beautiful, with many different areas to enjoy. During our short stay we saw a kingfisher, deer and hare. The birdsong is amazing as there are trees surrounding the property. This is probably a good location from which to explore North Yorkshire, but it was so perfect we didn't want to go any further than the dog walks. Thank you Tim and Phillipa for giving us the opportunity to enjoy time with Cecil and Bobby in your lovely home.
I had a wonderful time with Zulu. He is a sweetheart that loves to play in the pool and go for rides and explore new places. We had a great time exploring and playing together. Kristine made my stay very comfortable and had very clear instructions. She was a wonderful, laidback host with a beautiful property. I would be happy to sit for her in the future.
Gorgeous flat, excellent location and the best boy ever - I had such a lovely time looking after Kuk! Like most cats, he is very low maintenance and could be left alone for periods of time while I went about my business. He was very happy and I never had to worry about him getting used to me being there. He is a very confident cat and has a huge personality! He was also extremely affectionate and clearly really loves the company of people. Meg was fantastic and provided me with an extensive welcome guide. I had everything I needed for a very comfortable stay including a place to work from home. The location is incredible with loads of nice shops, cafes, direct bus links into edinburgh city centre and a huge beautiful park just over the road. The flat is beautiful and kuk was a wee dream to look after - I would happily stay there again!
