Kaya and Luna were a pleasure. They are easy to take care of and love to spend time snuggling on the sofa. They might take a few days to get to know you and hide a little at the beginning, but once they're comfortable with you they'll always be close by. Krista and her family are wonderful people. They are kind, welcoming, and accommodating. We felt very welcome and supported at every stage of this house sit. Their communication is also fantastic. We could always count on prompt replies to any questions or messages. We're sure you'll get along well with them! Krista's home really is beautiful. It's large by Japanese standards so you'll have a lot of space. The two of us lived and worked there for several weeks and had no trouble. The location is well connected, around one hour from the centre of Tokyo. Yokohama is also a lovely place to explore with lots of nice restaurants, cafes, and stores. Also, the internet connection was really good for work, we never had any trouble with this. We absolutely recommend this house sit opportunity to anyone considering it!
This was a fantastic housesit. Faye and Ben were really friendly and great at communicating. Their dog, Bob, Otis, and Pip are such sweethearts, and their cat was super affectionate. The house is gorgeous with loads of space, the garden is fantastic. We had the pleasure of eating as many raspberries, blueberries, gooseberries, currants, plums, and cherries as we could - and fresh eggs everyday from the hens. The area is stunning. Plenty of walking to be had and close to town (though a car or bike is necessary). We loved our time here. Thank you, Faye and Ben!

Kim and Steve are amazing hosts! They are so thoughtful with instructions and for their sitters. Their 3 wonderful dogs are so great and fun with very distinct personalities
Milo is like an ambassador for Lurchers and there are charming country walks minutes away, such as leading to a Buddhist retreat. Milo has a loving, intuitive and considerate personality and is always cooperative. The home is thoughtfully designed with fine views whilst Alan is interesting and helpful. Warmly recommended.
I loved absolutely everything about the sit in Trdkova. Doris and Jürgen provided me with all necessary information and gave me access to everything. I felt welcome from the very first message from Doris on. I enjoyed our coffee very much before I went home, they are a really nice couple and I am so grateful to have met them. I like peace and quiet and I couldn't wish for more in Trdkova. I was awakened by birdsong, the wind rustling through the trees while I practiced yoga on the terrace. Heavens! I enjoyed every moment spent in the beautiful garden and in the stunning house. The surroundings are great for hiking or biking, the food is delicious. I really couldn’t wish for more. The most important part, though, was Kazi and Wespe, they’re both gorgeous! To me, Kazi is an aristocrat, with his slender silhouette looking like a prince. He has those unique, serious eyes that make you think he knows more. I liked his quiet presence, I loved watching him by the pond as he watched (or drank) the water or just sat there. He has this soothing presence that immediately won me over. But as soon as I took the brush in my hand, I received his full attention. I could brush with him and Wespe for hours and hours. We all really enjoyed it. The feeding time could not be forgotten, even if I wanted to, Wespe would remind me by sitting by the bowl and waiting for me to finally get the time (feeding time ). All that mattered to her was food (and brushing). They are both beautiful, cute cats, so easy to maintain, I’d love to do more, but they didn’t need me to. Life is short and I will never have as many pets as I would like to, but with such sits pets become “mine” for a short period of time and I am happy that I can love them, pet them and that I can become a small part of their lives, too. I would like to take this opportunity to thank Doris and Jürgen for entrusting me with their home and pets. I can’t put into words how wonderful time I had in Trdkova, accompanied by Kazi and Wespe. These days will always have a special place in my heart.I would come and sit for Kazi and Wespe again, anytime, no hesitation at all! Love, Saša
