We took a short trip out of town and John and Elizabeth (and their daughter) were the perfect sitters. They took great care of our pups and house. We would definitely have them back!

Emma
Though we never met, Emma was a great host! She arranged everything for my staying, and communications was excellent.
Her house is very comfortable: you really feel at home!
Barley is a precious dog: loving, funny, dutiful. I couldn’t ask for more. We had so much fun playing and walking together.
I hope to take care of her another time as I already miss her so much!

Marie-Louise
Marie-Louise's sit was a wonderful break from the rush of every day, living a simpler life. No TV, no microwave, wood burning stoves for heat, no dryer... She has a little haven here in Central Victoria, and our family absolutely loved our time there. I would want anyone considering this sit to be aware that 1) you are right next to a fairly busy highway and the walls are thin so you'll hear every car drive by. 2) Those thin walls also make for some cold nights, so be prepared to keep the wood stove going! 3) And she is on tank water so she's worked hard to collect the water you'll be using so also be prepared to be ultra conservative with your water use! and 4) She doesn't use pesticides, she is wonderfully environmentally conscious, so there are bugs. More so in the shed living space out back. We were fine with it, it was definitely livable, but I know that would be difficult for some people. None of these were dealbreakers for us, but we are outdoorsy and love camping. Her backyard space is heavenly and you almost seem to notice the road noise less out there. If you're ok with these things, you'll have a wonderful stay with Minou and Minette! They are hilarious, very low maintenance, and Minou especially is a fantastic snuggler.

Josh and Mariah
We had an amazing time dog sitting for Josh and Mariah! Their dog Riley is an absolute gem. We took her on a couple hikes and she was great on the leash and with other dogs and people. She also loves to snuggle and was very easy going. Josh and Mariah were very communicative and had a lovely home. We had the best time in Asheville thanks to them!

Kate
Kate and her girls were the best family! So friendly, welcoming and considerate. Our family thoroughly enjoyed getting to know them and our sit at their lovely home. The house is very conveniently situated around the corner from a gorgeous Dunnes food store and basically on the major bus routes for the area. A view of the sea is a 7min walk away (also the park where Woody gets his exercise). There is a cute little playground on the other side of the park for younger children.

Woody is an absolute darling. He takes a while to warm up to you, but once he does, he really is the best. He loooooves to eat and lives for meal times. Take heed when Kate warns to put food well away out of reach. Woody is excellent on and off his lead. There is a lovely park nearby and he is extremely well behaved with a very good recall. He is comfortable with a good 3-4km walk at a time. We made sure he got two walks/runs in a day and he was very good both times. He sleeps well during the night too and we only needed to let him out before bed time and when we got up at 7am. One night he even went to sleep in the kid’s room.

This sit would suit a single person, couple or family. Kate has an extensive welcome guide with all information you would need for your sit. She is an excellent communicator and responds quickly to messages. We would sit Woody any time! We hope to be back again.

Judith
Let me start by saying that Geordie and Judith’s place is as perfect a mountain retreat as one could imagine and exceeded my expectations in every way. The house is comfortable and well appointed, the views are spectacular and Phantom and Darwin are not only easy to care for, but a pleasure to spend time with. Even with the temptation of seeing Sugarbush in the distance and imagining how good it would feel to carve a few turns, I felt no desire to spend time away from caring for this property and its occupants. I’m grateful to have had this opportunity, recommend to other sitters without hesitation and hope to return some day.
