This was an amazing housesit! Neil and Andy are very warm and open people, we immediately felt so welcome in their beautiful house! You can tell that they love their pets a lot! And we completely understand why :)! Fergus and Rufus (the cats) are gorgeous and playful and Ezi and Iqhwa (the dogs) are just the best: they love to play, walk and cuddle! We made a trip to Holy Island with them, and they could be off the lead almost the whole day as their recall is amazing. We would love to housesit here again!
I truly enjoyed staying with Ziggy at this cozy apartment. Ziggy is friendly and adorable to be with and Sadia made me feel at home. Also I love this neighborhood since the park is very close and people are kind. I hope to have another chance to catsit for Ziggy :)
I have only just found this part of the platform to leave feedback- sorry guys for being so late. Look We would highly recommend Sarah & David as hosts. We had the most amazing time with Peaches and explore the area. Peaches came out on every adventure with us including trips to the vineyard for tasting (she was the DD LOL) The home was amazing, clean tidy and so easy to be in. Sarah and David were very hospitable and after an 11 hour drive to get to them- it was welcomed. The area is amazing- and to be looking after Peaches was a hoot- by the way (she is like any child- you only need a yes from one adult and then you can get what you want LOL) she enjoyed going to Bathurst with us and driving the track- look I couldn't recommend this family any higher - thanks for choosing us for that sit X
I was delighted to be accepted for Sue’s sit in Mijas Costa. From the very beginning of our outward journey to Spain, unexpectedly our flight out was subject to a lengthy delay. Sue and her husband John had made arrangements to collect Sean and I from the airport, which originally would have been a civilised time of arrival. I really didn’t’ expect them to wait it out for us, beyond the midnight hour, but they did ! a more kind couple you couldn’t wish to meet ! On arrival at the apartment, Sue explained that Oscar their gorgeous Siamese, would show signs of withdrawal on their departure, as he is very attached to her. After a day or two he chilled out with us a little, and really is a gentle boy. The apartment is gorgeous with a super roof terrace, and the complex has a communal pool. Sue’s welcome guide covered every possibility including details for an English speaking dentist. Not exactly what you think would be important, but as luck would have it, an emergency arose but was well covered ! A pilots strike threatened our return flight home, but Sue and John insisted on offering us an extended stay if our flight was cancelled, which again was incredibly kind of them. At the end of the sit, they drove us to the airport which we weren’t expecting at all. Overall, this was a lovely sit in a great location, with incredible hosts.I could not recommend it highly enough. Thank you Sue and John, stars both ! Warmly Patricia
Jenni was a warm and welcoming host, I thoroughly enjoyed staying in her home and looking after Rum. He was good as gold and very low maintenance! The flat is the perfect location for hikes to the beautiful pentland hills, just an 8 min bus ride, plus it’s super easy to get to the centre to enjoy the sights.
This sit ticked all the boxes for a wonderful stay! Amazing dog full of heart, warmth and intelligence; a home with all the necessities, clean and stylish, and in a great neighborhood; And communicative, generous, and thoughtful hosts. Mr Willson (the dog :-) was a gentleman and a great cuddler. He always asked first but once he got the "go-ahead", he was all love. Encinitas also has one of my favorite places to go and spend an hour or two: The Self-Realization Garden. The home is within easy walking distance of the beach and no car required if you don't mind trains etc. to get to most places in San Diego. Thank you Laine, Forest and Mr Willson, for your trust, inviting me into your home and sharing your kindness with me.

Easily 10 stars out of 5!!! Jen met us and our two dogs for a day visit a couple weeks ago. Our dogs had been total homebodies and never socialized with other dogs. Jen made us at ease and when we picked them up they were happy, exhausted and had played with the other dogs all day. She said she would introduce the dogs one at a time and make them comfortable. We were so happy with the day visit we used her for a four day vacation. This location is Disneyland for doggies. Jen and her family love the dogs and interact with them all day and night. We received daily updates, pictures and videos. This is above and beyond what we had received at another boarding location. Knowing our dogs were safe and happy allowed us to enjoy our trip. Jen even worked one on one with our two dogs, teaching the pup to play well with the little dog. She is truly amazing and we recommend her and will be using her for more trips in the future.
Beyond 5 Stars! We are locals and were going on vacation to Europe and needed a place to leave our Aussie. She's really sensitive to the noise of garbage trucks and UPS/FedEx trucks so we were hoping for something quiet. The Kloud 9 property is set 'up above the road' and is accessible by a narrow driveway, too small for the above mentioned trucks - so quiet for our dog! Jen kept us updated with emails and many photos of our dog having a great time with many of the other dogs boarding there. Knowing our pup was well cared for and having a good time made us feel great. When we got back we could tell that our dog was happy to see us but was sad to be leaving Jen and Kloud 9.
We love Kloud 9 Ranch. Our dog is so well taken care of there. Jen, the owner, is a veterinary tech and she loves to work with dogs. She has done very good things with our "reactive" dog and she always has such "spot-on" insights into our dog's behavior.
Walter loves coming here. Jen gives him so much attention. He comes home exhausted from so much fun. The place is sparkling clean, doesn't reek of dog and Jen is just so nice to work with. We wish her many many more years of success, because I'd hate to take our dog anywhere else.
I contacted Kloud 9 Ranch via email in an attempt to board my dog, and never received a response. When several days passed, I called to no answer and subsequently sent a text to follow-up. I received a very short response saying they are not taking new clients, which is fine, however if I would've received a response I would've looked elsewhere and not have been in a pickle trying to board my dog on short notice. I thanked the owner and simply asked/recommended that they post that on the website or respond to reservation requests with that information. I was completely shocked when I received the most unprofessional response: "If I had time for that I would but I do not and since you feel the need to give advice I will return the favor. Don't assume you know anything about anyone before you speak to them personally." While anyone can understand that life events happen that limit people's time, it is ludicrous to me that a business owner would take such a rude approach to a potential client. Word to the wise to anyone considering reaching out to this person for dog boarding, save yourself the time and curt interaction.
This is a beautiful impressive place where dogs and people are treated personally and with respect, attention to detail, careful planning and a background of experience. It is a fun and relaxing mood up there, but also no-nonsense ....about health, security and discerning and meeting individual needs.
Jen is great! Our dog had a great time while at the ranch. Will certainly be using her again.
Great place! Would highly recommend. Jen is very accommodating and will treat your dog as family.
Dogwood is an absolute lifesaver! Our high-energy Border Collie/German Shepherd mix has boarded at Dogwood over 10 times, and we couldn't be happier with their care. She can be a bit anxious, but it's clear she feels right at home there. …
My three family dogs have been visiting Dogwood Ranch for many years now- on a very regular basis. We utilize the transportation option and they bolt out the front door and into the transporters car every time. They love their visits to …
Highly recommend! A well run pet resort in every way. Highly organized, almost all sizes and breeds accommodated. Your pets' health and well-being are a top priority and not an afterthought.
