Fiona , Patrick and Harvey the lab are perfect hosts. The house is old and beautiful and comfortable , and Harvey is the sweetest, politest and most joyful dog you would be lucky enough to meet. When he began to rest his head on my feet I knew I was accepted! Fiona was so friendly and generous, lovely walks and gorgeous Sussex! I loved it.
We have the chance to take care of Blizzard, one of the most adorable dogs in the world, easy to live with, playful and very cuddly. Ursula and her family are incredible people with a big heart, we had the chance to share 2 dinners with them which will remain for us one of the best moments we spent during our stay. The house is beautiful, spacious and very well equipped. If they are looking for someone to stay with, suggest you! The experience is really worth it, I strongly advise.
We had a great time sitting for Hayley and Adam. They are both really welcoming and helpful for our stay. We felt comfortable with the instructions left for looking after Mabel and Margot. Mabel and Margot are such lovely cats and were a delight to look after. Mabel liked lots of attention, which we were happy to oblige, and Margot was more reserved but loved getting pets in her own time. Their location is also super ideal, as we were close to the station and to the town centre. We'd definitely recommend sitting for Hayley and Adam!
We spent a long time in Chabanais with Tenzing and really enjoyed it! Communication with Karen was very easy and she did everything to make us feel at ease in the house and ensure that we have everything. The house is sublime and very spacious. We really felt at home here, and there's a very warm atmosphere. Tenzing is a lovely cat, and we spent a lot of time together. My phone is full of photos of him. He has his own schedule 😂 and knows how to make himself understood when he wants something which really makes things easier. He's really cute and sometimes slept on the bed with us and cuddled. He really enjoys his brushing time. He's very easy to take care of. He is such a sweetheart! 🥰 As for the surrounding area, everything is close by: a shop for groceries, forests for walks, and there's a bakery right next door too. Many thanks to Karen, I would recommend this housesitting a 100%.
I would like to thank Jenny and Nick for the privilege of looking after their friendly and adorable dogs Jake and Kimberly, along with their sheep and chooks who produced some of the nicest free range eggs out there. Jenny and Nick’s home is stunning and very comfortable. It is situated in an absolutely beautiful mountain retreat near Kangaroo Valley. On arrival they welcomed me as one of the family, starting with a delicious family dinner; a truly heart warming experience where I was able to get to know them. I would like to thank both Jenny and Nick for making me feel so welcomed. From the onset, both Jenny and Nick were extremely organised and answered all my questions. They also provided all the necessary details and their routine was so easy to follow. Their home had all the comforts of home and made for a pleasant and rewarding stay. The dogs, Jake and Kimberly were so loving, and I already miss the emotional connection established with Jake.
What an amazing experience was our first time with TrustedHousesitters. Coreena and Jay are thé best hosts and we were so lucky to spend an evening with them and getting to know them a bit better. They are both very warm, loving and welcoming people. We felt that in their home and also through the pups. Kona and Rocky are simply the best. They are such beautiful souls each with their own little personality. We had a blast going around with them and playing with them. We loooooved the evening cuddles. A wonderful experience with lovely memories in an inspiring environment. Kona and Rocky have a special place in our hearts.
