I had a wonderful time with Huckleberry and Zelda — both very lovable and will make you smile! The home is perfect location for walking the doggies where they are can sniff and explore - both are excellent off leash and just love to be by your side. Karen is easy to communicate with and made the Sit easy and fun! Highly recommend this family!

Lola is a furry bundle of fun: affectionate, companionable & delightfully mischievous she certainly knows how to enjoy life! Still a young dog, she is immensely curious about everything & everyone so there was never a dull moment, especially during our walks in the gorgeous provençale countryside. Lola also sleeps well at night, is well mannered for her age, and is happy relaxing on her sofa or under your chair. With something to chew on she will stay quiet for hours!

I loved the peace & quiet of Lyn & Paul's home, and spending time in their exquisite garden and pool. Lyn & Paul are such superb hosts, so welcoming and attentive to the smallest detail. The whole experience from first contact was friendly & informative, with a comprehensive welcome guide available prior to the sit. So, if you fancy some picturesque walks in Van Gogh country, with a loveable exuberant dog (& the best shower in the world!) then I would highly recommend this sit. A big thank you Lyn & Paul for choosing me to care for Lola.

Jim
Jim and Maggie are two of the coolest people in town. They are warm, welcoming and educated, the kind of people you get to like right from the beginning. Their house, located close to the Clay St trailhead, is bright, spacious, and has a peaceful and uplifting energy.
They left the house very clean and uncluttered, which is always my main concern.
I’ve been warned that Genghis, the gorgeous gray & white long-haired ruler of the land, would need some time to adjust to my presence in the house. Indeed, the first evening, once inside, he checked me out for 15 minutes from a safe distance, before deciding that I was worth of his trust. That very same night he cuddled with me in bed the whole night. Of course, I had to pass the test one more time the following day. As most cats, he loves to nap in your laptop’s keyboard… especially while you are typing.
He loves the outdoors, and the property has a huge yard with plenty of trees and bushes where a feline would certainly feel -in Jack London’s sense of the expression- the call of the wild. He must be inside for the night, because the house being so close to the forest, racoons, black bears and even mountain lions may pay a visit when all is dark and quiet. Fortunately, he has a healthy appetite, so he would come back from his adventures on time for his well-deserved dinner. If your voice calling him is not alluring enough for him, rattling the food bowl next to the door will do the trick.
Maggie and Jim left a folder with clear instructions about the daily operations of the house, plus some useful tips for visitors to enjoy our little town.
I had a great stay in that beautiful home, and I feel very grateful and honored for their trust.

Henrice
Henrice was a lovely woman who orchestrates a smooth and effective handover for both parties. I was able to meet her before her flight and get to know. Herself & Pasha which is always lovely for the pet as well as us.
Pasha was a quiet, cuddly soft nature’s cat who loved a good brush, to know her food was there for when she wanted to graze and to go in and out as she pleased. Very easy to care for.
Henrice gave recommendations on places to visit, times to seek out points of interest in the cbd, public transport and meditation classes which I’m sad I didn’t get time to join as I have been meaning to seek out classes since I have arrived.
Her home is clean, organised and tidy - I had my own guest room with plenty of space to unpack my things.
We kept in contact throughout the stay & am lucky to have updates on Pasha post stay also. I wish you both well! Thank you for having me!

Cathy
I really enjoyed my stay with Didion! He is such a sweet, sweet boy! He loves to cuddle and he is never too far away, whether you are working from home, or relaxing. He loves to play with his toys in the morning and he will remind you his dinner time is near. When walking, he knows the route and routine very well and can lead the way. He will bark at larger dogs, so just be on the lookout and when you spot one, simply cross to the other side.

The neighborhood was nice. There were many different places to eat, grocery stores, and the subway is less than a 10 minute walk. It was pretty quiet, for the most part.

Cathy is very detailed with her expectations. She writes out all of her expectations, so you will know exactly what needs to be done. If you have questions, she answers them in a timely manner and is very willing to offer help, if ever needed. I would suggest staying with Didion. You’ll simply love the little guy!

LISA
This was a wonderful sit. You cannot help but fall in love with these two little guys. They are best buddies and kept us entertained. They are very well behaved and a joy to care for. Lisa has a lovely, comfortable house. I sat outside with Jake and Bently in the evening and we just snuggled and looked out at the countryside.. If you are chosen for this site you will love it.
