Tails In The City is simply the best dog service imaginable. I have moved for work quite a bit since I first got my dog Penny, and this is the only daycare, boarding experience she is fundamentally happy to go to. Ken and Gary care so much about the dog son their care, and are simply wonderful people. Tail towers was a game changer for me in Amsterdam. Penny got picked up in the morning and dropped off late afternoon every week day, she got multiple walks a day, tons of play time with the other dogs, and so many places to nap and be comfortable. When I traveled she was loved and cared for as if she were their dog. Don’t hesitate, get your dog signed up for Tail Towers as soon as you can!

Gary and Ken have been our dog walkers/ sitters now for almost the entire 2 years we have been in Amsterdam. They've always been there for us whether its been for a vacation, or just me getting stuck at work late. Our dog Buddy goes twice a week for Old Doggy Day Care and the pictures Gary sends definitely show Buddy is having a great time. I'm pretty sure Buddy likes Ken more than me.

Tails of the City is amazing! Our dog goes there every week for the daycare and she absolutely loves it. Gary and Ken provide us with lovely pictures and videos which make us feel not only that our dog is safe there but that she is having loads of fun (and so are they!). It is definitely her favorite day of the week. I used to joke that she prefers Gary to us, but I’m starting to suspect that is actually true. Highly recommended!

I highly recommend Tails of the City! I am really grateful to have found them after so many bad experiences in Amsterdam. Tails is trustworthy, consistent and caring - and I think it really comes down to one simple thing: They love animals. Tails takes such good care of Joey, who is getting old and sick. They are gentle and calm, and give him just the right chin skritches to make him a happy cat. The best part - they send cute photo updates. You really can't ask for more. 😸

Gary and Ken (who run Tails of the City) are the people I trust most with looking after my Frenchie, Albie, whilst I'm at work / away from Amsterdam. Both of them care so deeply for all the dogs that they look after and make sure that they have great experiences through play, walks, snuggles and sleep! They're also great at communication with me as an owner - a couple of times, changes in Albie's behaviour/habits have been shared which has led to me making different decisions with him (in particular going to vets or re-training him in some areas). Throughout the daycare days, they both send updates to me to show me what Albie is up to during the day which always brings a smile to my face. Ultimately, they love the animals they care for like their own and - through the good and the bad times - make sure the animals have everything that the need. I could not recommend Tails of the City enough! 5 Stars. Top marks. 10/10. (Thanks for being such great carers of my little one)

We absolutely love everything about Team Tails! Ken and Gary have been looking after our older dog Ginger for 2.5 years now, and their newer team member Megan has recently dog-sat twice as well. All three of them are fantastic people that we (humans) totally trust while we're away, and our dog thinks they're the greatest, too. I don't think you'll find a more professional, communicative, and loving team in Amsterdam to take care of your animals. Just make sure to book them in advance because they're quite popular. Initially, Ken & Gary helped me with my 2 kitties when I was traveling. I have had friends stay with my cats and the kitties seemed more demanding and needy than after a week with Team Tails. I knew my cats were well cared for, played with and loved from how they responded when I returned. Since I adopted my rescue pup from Serbia, Team Tails has been my saving grace! From urgently taking care of my boy for two weeks when I had a family emergency to helping him grow into a confident, playful, dog-friendly pup at doggy daycare, Team Tails has been loyal, attentive, dependable, kind and generous.

Tails of the City are among the best dog walking and sitting service I’ve ever used. Gary and Ken treated our Harvey like he was their own - including helping us rehab him from a serious injury. When we travelled, we never worried about Harvey - we knew he was in the best care possible and we appreciated the regular updates both during his weekly walks as well as when we went away. I can’t recommend them enough and our only regret about moving to the next town over is that we couldn’t take them with us. We’ve had a really awesome experience with the Tails team. Our dog is still young and Ken, his primary caretaker has been so amazing at helping us be consistent on training and what behaviors we want him to practice. Ken has really taken the time to get to know our dog, and to set him up for success by gradually and thoughtfully introducing him to the other members of his pack walks. Our dog is so happy every time Ken is around, and we feel relaxed knowing he’s in good hands during our work day! Thanks a lot team Tails!

I love Team Tails! We've been clients of theirs since we moved here in October of last year. Wally is absolutely in love with Ken & Gary (and before, Shannon as well). I know how much Wally enjoys getting walked by them because he never looks back when he has to leave and he always comes home happy. We always get beautiful photos and updates when he's with them and I know that they love Wally too. <3

I went on a trip from Miami to Amsterdam with my dog Rocky. While staying in Amsterdam Maria took care of my dog whenever I needed some help, she always kept me informed about him with pictures and messages, that allowed me to get to know and enjoy the city. Rocky and me love Maria and would use her services again! Highly recommended!

It was amazing experience leaving our dog with Maria. She updated us with all the necessary information everyday like if dog ate, slept well, played. Also, she shared a lot of photos which was very nice! All in all, we were very calm during our holidays and it was definitely holidays without any worries.

Paddy stayed at Mama's Pet Club for 4 nights just before Christmas and we are so happy with the care he received. Paddy had done a couple of test days beforehand and when we were leaving him he ran in to Mari & Maurits apartment with a wagging tail, barely looking back at us. We were provided with detailed daily updates about what Paddy was up to during the day & how he slept. We also got lots of photos which really put our mind at east & helped us to enjoy our time at home. It's clear Mari & Maurits love pets and Paddy had a blast (he even made a BFF with on of the other doggies which was so cute!). We highly recommend Mamas Pet Club and will use their services again.

Harley had a great time at mama’s petclub. He went for a lot of walks, and played with other dogs who were there all day. He also had time to sleep. I’m super happy having found mamas pet club as it’s close to my work, but most importantly because I felt at ease leaving my baby here. They take very good care, make sure they know everything your dog might need on a day. Maria provided lots of updates and sent many photos and videos as well. What more can a dog mom want?! I am extremely happy with the care Maria T and Mauritz have provided to Bruno. They've been caring for him since he was almost four months old, and their patience and attentiveness have given me the peace of mind I needed whenever I had to leave. It's such a joy to see how excited Bruno gets when we're approaching their place—he can’t wait to see Puma again! They are always flexible, and I really appreciate the regular updates they send. I couldn't ask for better caregivers!

Mari & Maurits were fantastic hosts for our dog Copper while we visited some tourist sites that weren’t dog friendly in the area. They are lovely and she had a great time. I would highly recommend if you want your pet cared for at any time.

I can’t imagine my dogs having a better time with anyone but Elliott. He is timely, communicative, and professional. He treats all the dogs like they are his own. My two pups are always so excited to see him and their friends and they come home happy and tired from days running around the parks of Amsterdam. Rain or shine, Elliott always is cheerful, warm, and welcoming riding through the city to pick up and drop off the dogs in the bakfiets. I have absolute trust that my dogs are always being safely looked after whether it’s daycare or overnight stays. The Dog Haus is the best service and value I’ve ever experienced!

FRENCHIES RECOMMENDED (AND NOT ONLY) Our 3yo French Bulldog Otto has never been far from us, he is a special guy, he loves every dogs and humans but he is also selective, starting from food, dress, habits.. Elliott, The Dog Haus pack leader is awesome, just unique, so professional but the most important thing is that he is so full of love and gives Otto a huge amount of snuggles and scratches and he never gets enough. When Otto is with Elliott we know that he feels safe in the pack and very proud and happy to be part of it!(he is even more diligent). Obviously Maggie and Levi are the real bosses, you can have a lot of fun with them but first you need their approval..and he got it! He always send us videos of our doggie having so much fun in the pack and that makes our days easier. Otto's favorite moment is when Elliott comes to pick him up! He had and still having the best daycare we can ask for him!

Best dog walking service in town. Elliot is so brilliant with my pup. Having a meet and greet before hand was a lovely way to see how my pup would react to the other dogs. Elliot takes time to really get to know the dogs and my dog is always very happy after a day at the dog haus. I have also noticed that my dog is becoming a lot more social with other dogs which is a massive plus.

While The Dog Haus already has a great reputation, meeting Elliot in person reassured us that our pup's going to do well under his care. We've taken Haku to doggy daycare twice so far, and both times he seemed to have really enjoyed spending the day with Elliot, judging from a noticeable spring in his steps in the same evenings. Elliot would also post IG stories throughout the day so we can check in on how our pup's doing, so that really made us feel reassured. Overall, it was a great experience working with Elliot at The Dog Haus, and we definitely would bring Haku in on a regular basis, both to continue socialising him and get him used to being handled by people other than us, especially when we get busy.

Elliott is fantastic with our dog Stella. Two times a week Stella is picked up by bak fiets and spends the day at the Haus. She comes back exhausted (a hard feat for a beagle). Sometimes Stella stays over night and Elliott is incredibly flexible and easy to work with. Stella loves the Haus but we love the Haus just as much!

The Dog Haus is our go-to for our adopted cocker spaniel, Lola. Elliott is reliable, responsive and always accommodating. We especially appreciate the availability for pick-up/drop-off directly at our home and the frequent social media posts so we can check up on our pup during the day. Lola is shy and anxious, but we’ve really seen her come out of her shell and gain confidence around other dogs since she’s been attending day care on a regular basis. A day at the Dog Haus is a guarantee that your dog will come home with a wagging tail and ready for a nap!

The Dog Haus Amsterdam provides fantastic, reliable, truly caring, and punctual service! Highly recommend Elliott and The Fog Haus to all! (I have used and tested a lot of dog care and walking services in Amsterdam, The Dog Haus is the best!) I have a sensitive strong minded dog that is highly selective of who it accepts contact with. Not only can I fully trust Elliot with my dog’s safety and care, I also know that he always gives my dog full his full attention, allows my dog to have space to be itself and respects my dogs choices. My dog appreciates Elliot so much that he considers Elliot in his short list of friends.

I don’t know how I would have been able to manage moving to Amsterdam with my dog without Elliott and The Dog Haus. Right after I relocated, I had to go on a work trip for a week and Elliott watched Mari. He did a trial overnight before I left, sent updates throughout the week and trained her to ride in the bakfiets. Mari now goes to the Dog Haus twice a week for daycare, and seeing Elliott and Mari greet each other in the morning warms my heart every time he picks her up—he is so sweet with her! I am so grateful to have found The Dog Haus and I would recommend Elliott to anyone looking to board their dog or send them to daycare.

Hudson has been going to the Dog Haus for over 2 years now and she absolutely loves it there ! She gets excited the moment she sees me get her bag out when she stays at the Haus for the weekend. I though I was her favorite person in the world, but that title might actually go to Elliott ;)

The Dog Haus Amsterdam has been an important constant in the life of our dog Fazool since he was a puppy. Elliott takes care of his dog charges like they are his own. He keeps his "pack" small (and of small sized dogs), well balanced and we are so grateful Fazool gets to be part of it. I was very happy when a friend told me about these petsitters because I only want the best care for my cat. David and Cassandra came to meet me and Flora a week before I was leaving and really took the time to get to know Flora and understand all her needs. I had only adopted her a few weeks previously so was a bit concerned about going away so soon after that, but she'd settled in well and I was just going for 4 days at Christmas, which had already been booked. Cassandra was fantastic, sending me updates and pictures twice a day. Videos were more difficult because Flora is super speedy when playing! When I returned she was happy to see me, but clearly very relaxed. I won't hesitate to use this service again and would highly recommend it.

Amsterdam Pet Sitter did an amazing job taking care of my 2 year old Australian Sheperd while we were away for 3 weeks. They took such great care of our baby and our house. Amsterdam Pet Sitter did a beyond excellent job sitting my 2 (very pampered) cats. My cats have trauma and don't react well to many things, including strangers. They worked with me and the cats, with additional meet and greets to ensure that the booked sit would go well. My cats need an emotional support human and someone to give them medicine. This was no issue for Amsterdam Pet Sitter. I got regular updates whilst I was away, including pictures showing how relaxed my cats were. This allowed me to relax whilst away, not needing to worry if the cats were ok or stressed. I look forward to working with and booking Amsterdam Pet Sitter for my future trips.

It was so easy to work with Amsterdam Pet Sitters! After an initial intake meeting and thorough onboarding paperwork they stayed at my home to care for my endlessly energetic dog, Taco. I travelled first time to Amsterdam with my dog Winston. While it was great traveling to this dog friendly city, I wanted to take few hours and visit museums. My hotel concierge introduced me to Dave and Cassandra for pet sitting service. They are both very nice and reliable. They took great care of Winston while I was gone. I would definitely contact them next time when I return!

I recently used Amsterdam Pet Sitter to take care of my cats. As a pet owner, you’re always a bit nervous when someone new takes care of your babies. But David made sure I got an update every day on how they were doing! He even made sure to tell me if there were certain details, like how the cats were feeling.
