Our first THS with Sue, and her family of Willy the lovely, pretty, and happy Tibetan Spaniel. The two cats, were very independent, and enjoyed our company with some grooming. The house and garden is a beauty, and the location is for anyone who enjoys the beach, local history, and loving pets who give love back. Firstly this property was a delight to stay in, on the canal with beautiful water breezes and a fantastic pool to enjoy every day. Opposite a large park with lake and close to the botanical gardens with a dog friendly area and water for the dogs to play in. So many places to take the dogs including Main Beach, you won’t be short of variety. Charlie, Tommy, Blackie and Bailey all slept with me and I loved it. The two cats, Fernie & Jasper, were also easy to care for and loved pats. If you are a genuine animal lover and would like a wonderful place to have some time out reading a book, swimming and loving on some beautiful dogs then this is the sit for you. I enjoyed walking with the dogs everyday and came home feeling rejuvenated and so relaxed. Just what I needed. I loved sending photos & videos to Caryl of her puppies and what they were up to and it was lovely to know that she got just as much enjoyment out of it as I did. A perfect sit for a true animal lover 💕
What a wonderful time my partner Voja and I had in Soborg taking care of sweet Sisi in Delia's beautiful, tranquil home. Delia made us feel so welcome, was always happy to help us and answer questions when we needed advice about the area and things around the house, and we would absolutely go back in a heartbeat. Soborg is a peaceful, hidden gem that felt like the perfect summer retreat... it's a beautiful, safe neighbourhood out of the hustle and bustle of the city centre, but you can actually walk to the centre if you have the legs for it! That said, we were very grateful that Delia kindly let us use their electric car, which was amazing. It was a luxury to be able to go out in the garden and play with Sisi (she loves to chase the little apples that fall from the tree) and soak up the sun. The house itself is amazing - so spacious, airy and bright, but also incredibly homely and cosy. Sisi is an angel and no trouble at all to look after. She would sit with us in the garden and greet us on the driveway for scratches when we returned from shopping, and though she is very independent, she loved our company hopefully as much as we loved hers. Thank you Delia and your lovely family for trusting us <3
I’ve carved out a sweet little spot in my heart for Khaleesi and Mister! 🐶🐱Khaleesi is such a wonderful doggy and will give you all her sweet kisses and hugs. Her heart is full of joy and she’s living her best life. 💜 Walking Khaleesi along her route attracted neighbors running over to see her sweet face and say hello. Khaleesi is full of energy and loves playtime and going on walks but will also mellow out throughout the afternoon and after dinner. Mister lives up to his name and is so smart and vocal with his needs. He loves to open doors and let you know when it’s time to feed him breakfast, snacks, and dinner, all with “I’m judging you” look on his kitty face. LOL Although Mister is typically in independent mode and enjoys bird watching, he loves playtime with his toys and Olympic-style sprints in the living room late at night. He can be a tad bit shy at first but warms up quickly and will love on you and be by your side. Both Khaleesi and Mister are so well-behaved, and I would love to sit for them again in the future. Rachael and Devin are awesome pet parents, ensuring sweet Khaleesi and Mister were set up for success while they were away. They shared detailed instructions, including the pets’ schedules and how to administer Khaleesi’s new medication prior to my stay. I also appreciate their responsiveness and overall open communication style. Thank you again, Rachael and Devin, for your support and warm hospitality to ensure a successful pet sitting experience for Khaleesi and Mister. 🐾 To future pet sitters, please make sure to take great care of Khaleesi and Mister! 💜
Laura and Ryan are an amazing couple who treat everyone like their dearest friends and care about you even when they are away. Just loved meeting this wonderful couple! Kate and Iggy are one of the sweetest cuties ever! Kate is an incredibly intelligent bossy princess, and so cool when walking in the city. She loves being around you and you will enjoy it alot! Iggy is the captain and will always keep you posted on when to feed or walk him - loved this alarm :) I would totally recommend this sit to anyone who looks for meeting great people and really connect, as Laura's family is just the best. Housesitting for Melanie and Peter was an absolute joy! Communication was quick and easy and the house was so beautiful and cozy! The location is perfect if you want a quiet getaway surrounded by wildlife and the comfortable companionship of two of the cuddliest kitties you’ll ever meet. Coco and KitKat love to follow you around and cozy up next to you on the couch. They are so easy to care for and such a pleasure to spend time with. We hardly left the house because we didn’t want to be away from them for too long. I highly recommend sitting for Melanie and Peter and soaking up every second you can with Coco and KitKat. I really hope I get the chance to sit for them again!
