This was a wonderful, peaceful sit! Ari and Nikki are gracious hosts and Millie is just a lovable and loving sweet obedient dog who loves to sniff her way along her walks, get the zoomies in the backyard, and sleep peacefully the rest of the time :)

Whilst we've undertaken house/dog sits for family and friends many times before, this was our first sit organised via THS so it was a relief to have such a positive experience throughout. Communication from Alexandra from the start was excellent and very friendly. The house is a comfortable period farmhouse set in a beautiful rural location with loads of walks from the door. An added bonus to this sit is that there's a very large fenced paddock where you can walk Lemerty off the lead and throw a ball for him. Lemerty is very affectionate, playful and loves to cuddle up beside you to sleep off a good walk. The chooks needed very little looking after but it was lovely to wander down to them for a chat with them and collect their eggs. We'd thoroughly recommend Alexandra and Henry as a house/dog sit location.
Prim, Primmy, Primula, is an absolutely adorable little cat who likes nothing more than to be fussed over. She will lead you to her favourite garden table to be brushed and then happily settle down to sleep/lounge. She was an absolute delight to look after, so friendly and vocal. Miranda's house and garden are lovely, the sun even came out so we could enjoy sitting in the garden with Prim. Miranda made sure we had all the info about the house and Prim that we needed and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves, especially being 'told' by Prim that it's time for breakfast/tea/snack or "come and brush me". We would definitely recommend and would certainly do it all again tomorrow if possible. :-)
Srajan is super friendly and communicated very well before and during my stay. Tori is a lovely companion. She's clam and well behaved at home and absolutely loves going out for walks!
This was a special sit, complete with very helpful "pet parents", wonderful pets (including poultry), and beautiful surroundings. Though I've been to the Winchester area quite a few times, this visit was to an area a bit farther from the city center. At no point did I feel compelled to wander beyond the house; it always felt like the place to be. Clare and Eric provided everything that I needed and were a delight to communicate with. Barlow and Daisy were wonderfully affectionate while the 'hens in the pen' were surprisingly characterful and even fun! Hopefully I'll have the chance to return someday.
