This was a very smooth, easy and fun sit. Sue is great to deal with, Aylah and Chief are wonderful and easy to care for and the house is well set up with everything you could need. Communication was great and Sue is very hospitable. We would happily sit for her again and highly recommend her to others. Both Aylah and Chief are low key, happy dogs who are quiet around the house, enjoy company and love going out for their walks around the neighbourhood. Sue's house is beautiful, immaculately clean, tidy and organised. There is space for putting your own belongings and it is very comfortable. The neighbourhood is very safe and welcoming. It's worth noting that there is no public transport handy so you will need a car to get around. In conclusion, a definite Five Star Sit! Thanks Sue.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay looking after Hoops & Oscar & Patrick & Nancy. They were so well behaved and adorable. Stunning Historical home and very comfortable stay, beautiful surrounds and very peaceful. The chickens, ducks, goats and cows were very enjoyable as well and very entertaining :) Lovely walks near by and Jodie was so welcoming and handover was very smooth and excellent communication on routines for all the animals. Highly recommended.
I had a lovely 5 weeks spent taking care of Shelley’s home, garden, plants and cats. I managed wonderfully without a car, enjoying the 20 minute walk into and throughout the flower and tree filled town of Cupar. Buses were very easy to take for a daytime adventure to Dundee or St. Andrews. I was also very warmly welcomed with ice cream, flowers, a lovely meal, a trip to a farm market so to begin my stay. I was also delivered back to the town’s efficient little train station. It was a record setting summer with lots of sun and heat, with occasional cool rainy days or nights. Shelley’s family has a lovely garden in which to relax in sun or shade, or to have your outdoor office. The plants just needed a bit of water in the evening after each hot day. I made lots of excuses to be in the backyard, repotting plants and picking berries for breakfast. Shelley made an extensive home guide that was very helpful. “The girls” -Milly and Seersha- were each lovely in their own way. They will at times grumble at each other if they are too close together, so I chose to let Milly have her more leisurely summer meals in the garden (away from her “sidekick.”) Seersha is more of a “grab and go” eater that would check in for her meals and midday cheese! Both cats loved to have some active playtime with toys after breakfast or in the evening. It seemed to keep everyone happy! Each would take turns being my movie night lap cat if welcomed to do so. I very much appreciated my communications and conversations with Shelley. I’m confident that a wide range of sitters would also enjoy their time here.
Sharmila's home in Dalston was a wonderful break for us in central London. Her cats Tommie and Wolf are absolutely gorgeous and have such great little personalities - they love playing games and following you from room to room so are great company! Dalston itself is a brilliant area with loads going on - heaps of restaurants and Sharmila helped us out with loads of great recommendations for places to eat and drink. She was really easy to communicate with and made our stay so comfortable from the start. Would definitely recommend and would totally come back!
