My husband and I had a wonderful time house sitting for the 2 precious “Goldens” that belong to Kellie and Mark in Pflugerville Texas. Sadie and Daisy are sisters with different fathers. Each dog has its own unique personality and we instantly fell in love with them. Sadie is the Golden who loves to be hugged and petted, while Daisy is a bit more reserved. Both dogs enjoy the fenced-in back yard as well as our morning and afternoon walks. Luckily, with the cooler temperatures, we could enjoy being outside with them. Kellie and Mark were very welcoming, friendly people and easy to talk to! They were so kind to leave us a bottle of wine and Hershey bars as our welcome to the housesit – very unexpected and appreciated! Their home is nicely furnished and the perfect size. There is a man-cave upstairs for excellent TV or movie watching while relaxing on an ultra-comfortable sofa. There is also a TV downstairs to enjoy while cooking and/or eating. Our bedroom was perfect, and Kellie provided drawer space and hangers in the closet (things we don’t often get)! That is another example of their thoughtfulness. Also, we were thankful for the detailed Welcome Guide with lots of information about the dogs, house and the surrounding areas. Pflugerville is close to Austin and has lots of shops and restaurants nearby. It is centrally located which we enjoyed. Sadie and Daisy are so special and lots of fun. We had an amazing time at this incredible off grid place! Jack and his brothers were always there if had any questions. We took care of the plants and the vegetable Garden. The three cats are very lovely and the kids loved to feed and look after them. So it didn't feel like working. We are grateful to meet Jack and get to know this amazing area. Thanks so much! You could be very happy, if you got chosen 😊
The house was wonderful and well equipped. The pups were easy to take care of and so loving! Charlene and Don were easy to communicate with and everything went very smoothly. Would sit for them again!
Love this house, love this dog, love North Berwick. Probably one of my favourite locations in the UK as it has everything.. and i was here during the Festival By The Sea so EVEN BETTER. If you are lucky enoygh to house sit then bring a pin comb and some elbow grease. Grooming this fella is like painting the Forth Road Bridge.. LOVED IT
The sit was nice as expected and glad there were instructions and even a packet that provided much needed information.
Jodi and Fred provided good instructions including videos of the cat feeding routine. The house was very easy to find and comfortable. Our stay was brief but enjoyed a nice sunset and a rain storm with a view of the Grand Mesa. Chico is a rascal but the tracking system works should you need to find him while he's out on a prowl. Bella is a princess and does just what she wants-sleep! Jax is a hoot! He throws toys in the air and then propels his body in an attempt to chase/catch them. Very funny!!
