Debbie and Chris came to sit at a time where we ourselves were in a state of flux because of a large event we were organising in London which is the reason they were housesitting for us. We provided accommodation for them in our annexe the night before we left which is situated across from the main house whilst we frantically tried to finish the many outstanding tasks that still needed to be completed for the event before we drove down. Debbie was calm and took it upon herself to get to know the 3 large shepherds she was going to look after. They bark when people approach but Debbie seemed to know this was just noise. She bonded with all the dogs immediately and even in our state of flux this gave us confidence that all was going to be ok. We didn’t leave the house as we would normally like to because of our rush but we came back to a clean and tidy house. Both Debbie and Chris kept us informed during their stay and reassured us which helped us to focus on the task we had before us during the weekend. It was apparent that during their stay they had an unexpected domestic concern about an elderly relative in their area but they dealt with the situation calmly by telephone and didn’t let us down. We were very grateful to Debbie and Chris for dealing with what was not a normal situation for us where we were feeling very rushed and stressed when they arrived . It can’t have been an easy handover but they took it in their stride. The calm assurance they exuded really helped us. If they can deal with all that they can deal with just about anything. In the end they had to take in a lot of information in a very short time and coped well. It wasn’t a normal situation for us but we were so happy we had found a couple who just got on with things and didn’t panic. I think that tells you all you need to know about Debbie and Chris’s characters. Reliable, calm, and careful with your pets and the property they are sitting. 5 stars! They missed a point about the dogs food but that was really our fault because we were in such a state of panic. We hadn’t listed things down like we normally do and they remembered just about everything else and adapted very well. Thanks Debbie and Chris you passed the test with flying colours!
Georgina and Tony were absolutely fabulous house sitters/pet sitters. They took care of our 2 cats (one of which is still in the sassy kitten stages) and our apartment for 3 weeks. The apartment was impeccable when we got back, and Georgina and Tony were really flexible when our flights were moved up and we came back a day earlier than expected. They also left a really nice welcome gift (chocolates!), which was a lovely treat. Before and throughout the stay they were communicative and kept us updated on the cats. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for responsible and fun house sitters - they have great senses of humor and their updates were both informative and hilarious. We would gladly ask them to take care of the kitties again. Thank you George and Tony!

Our dog Jura came home clean, healthy and happy. Staff were so accommodating & patient & kept us up to date. Just the perfect amount of kennels enabling them to give the right amount of care to each dog and in a beautiful area. Definitely would recommend and use again. Kennels are extremely well kept, warm and spacious. Dogs have an indoor and outdoor door run. Limited number of kennels , so dogs are well cared for . Exercised daily. Updates and photos are sent to pet owners. Staff are incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. As a retired Police Dog Handler, I highly recommend Just 4 DogZ.
Booked online, was easy to do, response was quick, I made an error in my dates which they amended quickly. 12 kennels it was pretty full when we dropped off our dog. Staff were super friendly, asked the right questions. It was his first time in the kennels and they said he was great and when we picked him up he was super happy. They can send videos on their walks and he was loving life.
We've boarded our dog here multiple times with no issues. She loves it and settles in really fast (an absolute miracle), and comes back happy. Really easy online booking system too.
Tried to contact these kennels in November and again in January using 4 different means of communication (phone, text, email and their website contact form) to arrange a visit with a view to boarding our dog and didn't receive any replies! The kennels look fab on their website, but really disappointed with lack of customer service 😞 …
They took good care of my spaniel Molly. She's quite timid but she was happy to see them. Lovely and clean and not to many kennels so more attention individually.

Ashley has been fantastic with my beagle, Luna. Luna can’t always be off-lead, but Ashley handles her perfectly every time. I appreciate how attentive she is to Luna’s needs and how comfortable Luna seems in her care. I always get regular updates and pictures of Luna having a great time with other dogs. Ashley’s clearly in demand for a reason—she’s reliable, caring, and really good at what she does. Highly recommend her as a dog sitter!
Would like to say a huge thank you to Ashley for having our girl stay whilst we were away. We had regular updates with pictures and videos which put our minds at rest knowing she was well looked after. So lucky to have found someone local who is reliable, friendly and most importantly great with dogs. Frank, my cockapoo, had the best holiday at Ashley's. Big walks every day and all the care and attention he could want. A happy boy when I collected him, but not sure he wanted to come home! Ashley clearly loves her work and it shows. She sent me photos and films of my pup every day, and I could enjoy my time away, knowing that Frank was in safe hands. Highly recommend 😊
Ashley is very professional, informative, friendly and very good at keeping you up to date with how things are going with text and photos. My first time leaving Dandy with Ashley I was really worried as he had recently lost his Dad, Beano, but Ashley took great care of him. I have used Ashley again a number of times now, she has a lovey secure garden and home. The pictures and messages made leaving Dandy so much easier. Thank You 👍🐶🐶
My wee Buddy loves Ashley looking after him overnight or daycare. Plenty walks and in and out of the garden all day and lots of praise and cuddles. Very lucky to have Ashley's obvious love of dogs looking after mine, would defo recommend Ashley's doggy boarding and daycare.
My dog belle has now been with Ashley twice, both times she has taking brilliant care of her. She is always tired when we pick her because she has had so much fun.
Today was Phoebe's first time at Ashley's Doggy Day Care and she had the best time ! Cant reccomend Ashley enough! She has welcomed my pup into her home with open arms and my pup has gained so much confidence since starting day care. Ashley is so loving, keeps me updated throughout the day with pictures and videos and my pup has the best day!
This groomers is the best in the forfar/ Kirriemuir area. My dog yelps and scratches enthusiastly and pulls on the lead to get his groom done here. They definitely spoil and well treat dogs. Use this place people, you won't be dissapointed
Cant recommend this place highly enough. They thoroughly pamper your fur babys...and I wouldnt take my boy anywhere else for his grooming needs
The dogs are very well cared for. My pooch goes every summer and is always well looked after. Two walks a day plus they have thier own field for the dogs to play in. Kennels are spotless and heated if it's cold. The kennels are large and have 2 compartments. I would highly recommend here for your dog.
I left my dog on a Wednesday 1pm. He was there the night and Thursday night and I collected him Friday just after 12 noon. He had his own food. A pack of two Jumbones and a pack of treats. I was charged £60. Eyewatering charges for a small dog. Both jumbones and most of the treats gone. Yet, if they had cared to read the information on them, one jumbone and just some of the treats were to be given. My little dog has just slept since I brought him home. I’ve left him with two other kennels in the last few months, one was £13.50 per day, the other £11.50 per day and he came home very happy, and the treats I’d left were not all given as treats are to be given sparingly. I chose this kennels as it’s nearer to where I live, but never again. I let them know my feelings and they were just rude and offhand.
Absolutely 5 Star kennels. Jacqui and her husband were so welcoming and are clearly doggy people. Fantastic facilities for the dogs with a completely escape proof exercise field adjacent to the house and kennels. Jacqui also posts hilarious pictures of the dogs on social media so you can actually see how much fun your fur babies are having while they’re not with you. Highly recommended. Felt guilty about leaving my Border Terrier at kennels as he had been unwell. I needn't have worried as they took great care of him and administered his remaining medication. Seeing happy pictures of him on Facebook helped us relax, knowing he was being well cared for. When I picked him up he seemed relaxed and happy. Will gladly bring him back to West Inch in the future.
I am unable to comment on the quality or otherwise of this establishment but am moved to raise a considerable concern over the booking process and its reliability. I called the lady owner on Monday 21 January to request an eight day booking in March for our dog. Thoroughly pleasant and efficient conversation, no problems, dates were available, fees were fine and it was agreed we would take our dogs food for the visit. I also requested a separate single night stay the week before we left as an opportunity for our dog and the kennel to gain some familiarity. This was again agreed as being worthwhile and at my request it was left that my wife would call back to finalise details. Absolutely no problems, very clear conversation with very pleasant lady and felt that we had found a good place for our dog as other reviews testify. Unfortunately when my wife called the following day she didn’t get the efficient lady I spoke with but her husband who was apparently less than helpful or indeed clear. My wife asked to book the dates but was told this was not possible as she would have to attend in person as a form had to be completed. My wife offered to visit same day to comply with the request but this was apparently not suitable. Similarly an offer to make payment in full immediately was bizarrely declined by same gentleman. So, it was arranged we would attend on Friday of same week (23 Jan) to complete said form (question why on earth can this not be emailed)? I called this morning to request that we come at 2 instead of 3pm and had my first conversation with this chap. He blithely informed me that nope, we cannot take your dog as someone else has been given the booking. When asked why he didn’t extend the courtesy of at least calling to advise us that he’d given our slot to someone else (and to save us a significant and fruitless round trip) he claimed he had ‘lost our number’. The lady I spoke with clearly knew what she was doing and completely organised and I get the sense that if we had been able to deal with her alone none of this would have happened. However, be warned, arranging a booking with this kennel without being let down is clearly a challenging process if you end up having to deal with her husband.

Would highly recommend Michelle at TLC Pet care & dog walking services. We booked Michelle to look after our 2 rabbits whilst we were off on holiday. Michelle was thorough in getting to know what the bunnies routine was and sent us pictures of what she had kindly set up for them during their stay. Michelle is a very caring and punctual girl who clearly loves animals.Not only does she offer dog walking but all sorts of different services to all types of different animals.Michelle was a former RSPCA inspector as well and her knowledge of animals is invaluable.I know I can contact her anytime for advice.When Michelle is out with the dogs she always looks after them and gives them all her attention to them.Their welfare is her priority.I would definitely recommend/trust Michelle with all animals in her care as she is clearly an animal lover. Van is very clean, comfortable, ventilated water provided and safe. Michelle makes sure doggies are comfortable water etc when drops off. Michelle is a brilliant dog walker and boarder! Our excitable two year old Labrador has been walked by Michelle since he was a puppy and he absolutely adores her. It’s clear she loves what she does - she doesn't just walk dogs; she invests time and effort in understanding each dog's unique needs and our Lab comes home happy, exercised, and clearly well-loved. Michelle is punctual, reliable, and professional and her communication is excellent. She sends daily updates and lots of photos to keep us connected which is lovely (and often hilarious) to see! Our lab has also boarded with Michelle several times - he comes home tired and happy and it gives us great peace of mind to know he’s well cared for when we’re away. I own a border terrier and due to change of job, some days my dog would have to stay at home. I contacted TLC Pet Care and agreed to meet up with Michelle on one of her dog walks, I was very impressed by how she handles the dogs and has very kind nature towards them. She knows each of individually and how to treat them to get them to obey her. Considering there was 11 dogs that was impressive, After spending an hour with her, I had no hesitation in having my dog booked in with her, for her to take him out on the days I would have to leave him at home, now four weeks later I’m sure my dog prefers to stay at home knowing he is going out on one of her walks rather than coming to work with me. I highly recommend to anyone TLC Pet care and dog walking services.

Best place you could put your dog. The dogs are so well looked after and Amanda and Mitchell are so caring towards the dogs and make everything easy. Our dog comes home happy and stimulated every time she goes and we know she gets the best care whilst she's there.
I now know that dogs can tell time....Tiko, my German Shepherd, on a Monday and Thursday morning, knowing he's going to the Red Collar, is high as a kite and can't wait to get into the car. I know that by the way he runs to whoever answers the bell, he loves it there, probably enjoying being someone else's pain in the butt for a wee while;....but seriously ...dogs are pack animals, and at the Red collar they are running and playing in packs. socialising and learning how to behave in the company of other dogs ...you can;t get better.....anywhere.
Absolutely amazing! From a dog mum who thought no one could look after her dog properly, to now I feel guilty if my dog hasn't been out to Red Collar! Dogs absolutely love it and it is such good value for money. Can't fault it and the owners really know their stuff.

We've taken our puppy Maisie twice now and she loves being with Amanda and Mitchell because she always comes home worn out from having so much fun. Maisie will be a regular visitor for fun and cuddles.
My border collie loves this place,staff are all really friendly and at the end of every day they post hundreds of pictures of what the dogs have been getting up to.

Fiona has been walking my wee miniature schnauzer for a year now and Lunna really looks forward to her walks, it's lovely to see her wee tail wagging as they head off together. Highly recommended, great service and communication, fabulous photos and videos of the pups having fun.
Fiona is absolutely brilliant with our new puppy - he was quite nervous of other dogs at first but since joining Follow My Lead’s group walks throughout the week he is very well socialised and loves to meet new dogs now! Fiona is extremely reliable and trustworthy therefore I can relax when our puppy is with her. She has so much love and care for the animals she looks after so our dog couldn’t be in safer hands. We already have plans for Fiona to spend a week with our pup whilst we are away on a trip, and I think he’ll have even more fun than we will! I highly recommend Follow My Lead to anyone - from busy workers to those who would just like to socialise their dogs more and give them some fun!
Fiona has looked after my dog Milo since he was a puppy and I couldnt reccomend Fiona more! Shes so passionate about her job and my dog just dotes on her and window watches till he sees the Follow My Lead Van is outside! Shes very reliable and always there when I need her even if its last minute! My fur baby gets excellent walks and its excellent value for money! Fiona has stayed in my house many times to look after my wee cat, Mildred, while I've been on holiday. She is completely reliable and trustworthy and really looks after your pet. I was so lucky to find her as it takes a special person to take care of your beloved pet.
We see our pets as out children; we use this service because we could trust Fiona and her team completely. Knowing your children are cared for as their own takes the worry away. Follow my lead sees to both our cat and dog. Provides sit in, check ins and solo walks when ever we need. Sometimes things crop up, and Follow my lead always manages to squeeze in our four legged friend if i am caught up at work, or if i feel they are under the weather and just need some extra company. Cannot recommend this service enough!

Boarding Buddy’s are fantastic. We left our dog here while we were away for a week and was in no doubt he was well looked after. Also often see Mhairi along the shanwell road and she’s fantastic with the dogs, they all have a great time.

We've been twice now and previously Barney has been very hesitant at the groomers - nit the case here! He walks through the puppy gate quite the thing. On both occassions the groom has been very tidy and exactly what we like. I also like the booking system online. No problems at all, would recommend.
Would only use this company for my two dogs. They always look great when they come out, and as important, they come out stress free and happy. The girls are great and explain everything they are going to do before they start. I have no problem in recommending them and do so with the knowledge that I entrust them with my own dogs.

Been here a 3/4 times now and finding the quality of the grooms here are getting worse. My last two teddy bear cuts have been an absolute mess and they don't look anything like a teddy bear cut,so I'm sorry to say i won't be back
