Luna and Ellie are super cute companions in La Mesa. Robin gave clear instructions. Her house is lovely as well. My only regret is that I didn't get a chance to fully enjoy everything because it was raining (unusual for San Diego) for the entire time I was there. I would love to come back and spend longer with Luna and Ellie in Robin's little piece of paradise.
We loved sitting for Penny and George. Their cats - Lucy and Max are intelligent, empathic, affectionate and individual. They are both officially Cyprus moggies who love their home and garden. They loved Liz and were quick to teach her which was the Dreamies drawer and which was the Tuna cupboard. They were always unamused when they only got one Dreamie on alternate days. Max was so poorly when we were looking after him but he was a patient patient. When he was feeling better he loved to pat Liz’s face at 5.30am to ask for a fuss and food. He was so poorly he couldn’t clean himself and we discovered he adored being rubbed with a wet flannel and brushed with Lizzie’s tangle teaser brush. Lucy is an amazing work companion and while Susan was working she loved to lay on an old Hessian shopping bag or on Susan’s lap. Lucy also used to throw herself on Liz’s feet while she was trying to cook and then curled her tail around her ankle. Penny and George were easy to communicate with. They were helpful and generous with time, and information. Penny made us feel very welcome when we arrived, she showed us around and helped us to settle into driving and living in Cyprus. She made sure we were insured to drive her car and that we knew how to negotiate the local petrol stations and so on. She cooked supper for us on the first night and introduced us to Cyprus wine and also her fabulous friend Celia. Penny left us plenty of guide books and gave us lots of ideas about things we could do. Overall, we are thankful that Penny chose us for this sit and that we were able to experience looking after such lovely cats in such a lovely setting. We know future sitters will probably sit for Penny and George in a very different (cooler) setting but we are certain the welcome will be just as warm.
We LOVED petsitting for Keith! Raja is a big, beautiful boy with a big personality! He loves attention, is happy to sit on your lap, on his terms of course, and is just so fun to be around. He is super easy to care for and had us smiling all the time. Keith was an excellent host! We met before the sit and he went over everything in detail and he had a Welcome Guide printed out. His home is a dream to stay in! Our own room and bathroom, with towels laid out for us, plenty of room for our luggage including closet space and room in the fridge. It's a beautiful home and very comfortable. Keith made sure we were all set up for the sit. Keith's location is very walkable to numerous restaurants, grocery stores and pubs. It's located in a great section of Salt Lake City with easy access to the mountains. We highly recommend a sit at Keith's. If Salt Lake City is your destination you won't find a better sit around!
We enjoyed our stay here and the company of the kitties, they are so adorable 😺 Jocelynn is very communicative and was always pending to answer all the questions. She has a beautiful and comfortable house and makes us feel welcomed. Thanks for everything :)
