Robyn made it super easy for us to move in and get acquainted to the routines, the cats were all amazingly welcoming and cuddly - one by one they warmed up to us, so touching! The house was actually bigger than was seen in the photos, we had our own bedroom with ensuite and plenty of space for our things. We probably had chosen the coldest weeks of the year for this sit, but there were enough heaters to warm up the place, so we felt cozy and right at home. The location is incredible, with stunning views over to Mosman and the bay, a few minutes walk to the ferry, so would definitely recommend! Robyn was very responsive and helped us enormously even after moving out and helped us getting started in Australia - we could not have wished for a better start in a new city and hope to see them again soon - we miss the cats already!
I had a great stay at Rebecca's place! It was a great location near a metro and walking to other restaurants, etc. The apartment was comfortable, and it is a nice neighborhood. Rebecca gave very clear directions about the kitties and the apartment, which was incredibly helpful.
Henry and Irene's house is in a great location near Westport, super warm and very comfortable. It was a great week looking after Sunny and Fonso. Sunny is energetic and curious, traits of a young dog, always wondering what you are doing. Fonso, being older is pretty relax and super easy to look after. He's happy out running after the ball in the front garden. Sunny can be a handful, but she enjoys running and this keeps her calm whilst out. I was left plenty of information about the dogs routine and lots of tricks that the dogs enjoy doing. Met a few of the neighbours whilst out walking and it is a lovely little community around Rosmoney. Plenty of interesting areas to walk about with the dogs if you have never been to the area. Henry and Irene were very generous and provided me with a great experience with their 2 lurchers.
I had a lovely time caring for Bella in Longmont. She is a very mellow feline, often snuggling up next to me on the couch and sleeping with me at night. She even tolerated me picking her up every morning for a quick and gentle hug. What a sweet little being! Caroline and Diane were very clear and communicative, leaving me excellent notes for both house and cat care. They were available when I had questions or needed some clarification. They are also super kind, fun and interesting humans! Additionally, their home is a fabulous space with a beautiful and large kitchen, a place to stretch and do yoga as well as a hot tub. I highly recommend this sit for the outdoor enthusiast and the homebody alike. With its proximity to trails, wildlife and much that Colorado has to offer along with their peaceful home and calm, relaxed Bella, this is a great place to chill, work, cook and also get outside.
Jim was a super host! He has very detailed instructions and they cover everything you need to know - plus great restaurant recommendations (I loved Down Under). Responsive and clear communication before and during the sit. Food, leashes, meds etc. were laid out all together so I had everything in one place. Sydney and Gabi are darling and well-behaved. The home is located in a "new urbanism" development that is designed especially to be pleasant for walking and it did not disappoint. Everything about the neighborhood felt manicured, quiet, and safe. Inside the home is clean, organized, and well maintained. The photos don't do it justice - it's a very nice property. Wifi was reliable. There were way more amenities than I even had time to try out. Highly recommend this host - thank you Jim and Karen!
We had the most amazing time in Bend at Dana's home! All her fur babies were so much fun. We enjoyed taking the dogs on long walks around the neighborhood, and the cats were very friendly. The home itself was clean and had beautiful views. Thanks again for letting us housesit!
