SHELLEY IS AMAZING!!! Truly- I don't know what I could have possibly done to deserve the care Shelley and her daughter Jen gave to our pets and our home. They faced truly abysmal weather here in New Orleans and could have re-routed their whole trip to find better weather, but they kept their commitment to us. The house was sparkling and neat as a pin when we returned. Our very own network of spies (i.e.- the friends at the dog park where Shelley kept our daily 7:00 AM appointment) said that they were the best sitters we have ever had. Our skiddish Labradoodle and lazy beagle loved them at first sight. If you have a chance to have Shelley house sit for you then count yourself lucky because she is a treasure. Like Mary Poppins for pets. I cannot recommend her highly enough.
Iona and James were wonderful and so helpful, they arranged all of the food and medicine for Ishu that we would need so we didn’t even need to think. The apartment was lovely. Ishu is an angel and we loved spending time with her, she was a bit nervous at first but warmed up to us quickly. We already miss her!
We are so grateful to have stayed at Amy and Mark’s lovely home, it was very clean and they left space for us to feel at home which we really appreciated! Jazzy is such a sweet cat, will definitely miss her cuddles!

Taking care of Ollie in San Diego was a dream from start to finish. We met Hunter as he was leaving for the airport and got a great rundown of everything. They also left a helpful list of tips/instructions. The house is beautiful and very spacious. Kitchen was very well-equipped, bedroom was huge and super comfortable and we really enjoyed the veranda and garden. Ollie is an energetic dog and weren’t shy telling us that he wanted to go down and play some fetch. There’s a field nearby and also a convenient dog park. He behaved well on walks and with other dogs and (mostly) relaxed while at home. He charmed us constantly and he was also great in the car. All in all, we had a splendid time and wouldn’t hesitate recommending this sit to others!
We had a great weekend at Claire’s with Harrison and Mitzi! The cats are very sweet and warmed up relatively quickly. They were a treat to come back to each day, and quite cuddly in the mornings. Claire is very responsive, helpful, and incredibly reasonable— she’s super easy to communicate with. Her home is in a lovely neighborhood with spectacular views, especially during sunset. We enjoyed walking through the nearby park and gardens too!
