Ryan's home is perfect for exploring NYC. It is on the express line for the subway and close to many things. It is across the street from Prospect Park so dog walking is a dream. Many close by food and delis. Super consistent and strong wifi, which is great for someone who WFH like me. His home is great for a couple or single person. He had all the cooking things that I needed. Honestly super comfortable. Minor neutral/cons: - No washer/dryer but the laundromat is down the block. - No elevator and he is on the 4th floor. I didn't mind. Good leg workout. - The heat in his building is very hot so you need to turn on the AC occasionally. Gus is a dream to take care of. He is easy and so cute. His only annoying thing is he gets in my face when I am leashing up my dogs so I can't see even if he is already leashed or not. Makes it hard to see lol. He can be standoffish with younger adults (12-14yo) but he loved my husband and my best friend when they came to visit or we hung out. He walks great and pottys great. His recall is amazing. He never runs off. He plays when it's time to play and sleeps when it's time to nap. He loves dogs and tell them his boundaries without being aggressive. He is up for whatever you are doing/going. He is not a fan of fireworks/equivalent loud noises. Poor baby had a bad time New Year's Eve on our night time walk. He is super cuddly and sweet.
Elizabeth was a great host and welcomed me with open arms. She's a fascinating woman with lots of interesting stories to tell and very easy-going, yet the instructions she left were clear and precise. Her big, cozy home is the perfect cat playground where the kittens have plenty of space to run around and live out their zoomies. They're adorable, healthy kittens that warmed up to my presence quite quick and eventually followed my every step. The neighbourhood is very quiet and felt safe and I highly recommend this sit to all cat lovers who want to explore Puget Sound and the beautiful islands or just relax in a lovely house with high-speed wifi and two white furballs as companions.
OMD! (Oh my dog!) Duke and Ella are these sweetest pups ever! Duke is a senior who walks you to the door when he wants water or “out”. He happily takes his medication and it’s no effort at all to care for him! He’s so cute and smart! Ella is a young gal who loves her long walks on the beach. Ella and I took 4.5 mile walks almost daily I think she could have kept going! Ella is really good on the leash with harness. Their Mom (Lisa) and Dad (Jack) are pretty wonderful too! Lisa and Jack are welcoming, generous and communicative. The home is clean and comfortable! You will have your own bedroom and bathroom wing! I highly recommend this sit although, I want to return as often as possible. I miss Duke and Ella!
We stayed at Sarah and Yari’s house for Christmas holidays and we loved our stay. The kitties are all super friendly, sociable and easy to care for. Charlie likes to cuddle on the couch and get massages and Macchia and Calico are playful but also like to get human attention. If you sit peacefully in the living room or patio they like to come and sit with you! Sarah and Yari made our stay easy by giving us detailed instructions and leaving small signs throughout the house. The location of the house is perfect with all the restaurants, shops and beaches only a short drive away. The house is very bright and spacious, the beds are comfy and the kitties make it super cozy by always staying nearby!
Thanks very much Emiliy for this amazing sit. Kitzi, Cleo and Coco are adorable, easygoing and gentle cats, we loved to play with Kitzi for hours😊 We have got useful videos about how to take care of them. Emily’s hospitality and kindness was exceptional, she really wanted to make sure that we enjoyed our time in her apartment. We really did!! Even she asked us many times if there was anything we needed. She gave us many tips what to do around the city. Salzburg is a beautiful place and so many things to do in the mountains. We are really grateful to earned the chance to spend our winter holidays with Kitzi, Cleo and Coco. Hoping will see you again.
Pepper and Little Head are truly the sweetest and most loving pets. Suzy and Tom are generous and welcoming. Their home is beautiful and comfortable and their back deck looks out onto what feels like a park with gorgeous trees and birds! Suzy is a good communicator and everything was clear and went smoothly. I look forward to another sit with them!!
