Jen is a gem! Excellent communication throughout and was kind enough to arrange a Zoom session beforehand so we could meet her and Oliver and introduce her to our home and Rusty. Incredibly understanding of the stresses and challenges that can come with travel and with parenting small children. We had our usual frantic last-minute packing, working, and getting out the door, which was complicated by our flight being cancelled a few hours before take-off! Despite the big wrench being thrown in, Jen was cool as a cucumber, even though she had already driven down to San Diego that morning with her son and planned to work remotely at a coffee shop while we got out of the house and out of her way. When she found out about our flight being rescheduled to nearly 12 hours later, she quickly made other arrangements for herself and her son to hang out at a local hotel for the day instead. This was BEYOND amazing to not have to worry about how to accommodate them and that she turned it into a positive thing. Jen is obviously an experienced traveler. We appreciated that she juggles working full-time and parenting and that she was able to continue to do these things from our home while being super reliable and responsive, and liked that Oliver was with her to give our pup extra attention. She made the most of their stay in our town, taking us up on tips for what to see and do, which made us happy and is the reason we love using this service, for the reciprocity. I should probably add that Jen and Oliver took wonderful care of our senior pup Rusty. It was obvious he was showered with attention and got lots of walks and enjoyed his own vacation while we were out. They paid attention to details and followed all of our instructions. And as everyone else has mentioned, they left our home sparkling clean, even washing our dog's dirty blanket. On the way back, Jen stayed in the area until she was sure we were going to get back to Rusty without any other travel hiccups. Just a top-notch mother-son duo and kind human beings. Exactly who you'd want house-sitting! We wouldn't hesitate to have her back.
We had the best time looking after Roxy, Toby, Cleo, and the rest of the gang! They were all very easy to look after with clear instructions given for feeding and we're all absolutely hilarious! The house had everything we could possibly need and we had great communication from Michelle if there were any questions. The house is in a lovely rural location with a few shops, cafés and walks. We’d recommend this sit to anyone!
Nicola and Ed were super hosts. They provided me and my son with lovely bedrooms and everything we needed. We had a fantastic time in their amazing house and countryside, and enjoyed the pool, and the best experience about the whole trip was our time with Juno who is such an intelligent, kind and friendly dog. We grew very fond of Juno and will happily house-sit for them again.
Liana and Tania were very welcoming into their lovely home, they have a beautiful, clean, calming home and gave us plenty of information on the local area, restaurants, bars & cafes. Their home in Henleaze is situated in a quiet area but also an ideal spot in Bristol for visiting the City Centre or Gloucester Rd. and surroundings, its also very easy to get to the motorway. I was able to work remotely here from a desk using the wifi / screen setup. Karoo is quite a character, she loves company and is playful, she is so loveable and very easy to take care of, we will miss her and hope to look after her again some time. We communicated both ways throughout out time here, sending photos and updates. We would definitely recommend house sitting here.
John and Wendy are lovely and my stay at their home with Betty was great. Betty is easy to look for, the house is very comfortable and about 30 min walk from the city center. You can also take a bus. The town has a charming historical center and some nice museums. I highly recommand to stay at John and Wendy's.
My kids and I had a wonderful time house sitting for Erin! Erin was very welcoming and inviting. She was responsive and answered all of our questions right away. The home is big, beautiful, clean and in a great neighborhood with friendly neighbors. Easy drive to grocery stores and restaurants! Ralph was such a good and friendly dog! He was so excited to have us there and he loves to play tug of war and fetch with his toys! We didn’t see Walter until night time. He hid during the day then came and cuddled in the bed at night lol! My kids had an amazing time playing in the toy room and on the playground in the backyard! Thanks so much for welcoming us into your home and trusting us with your lovely pets Erin ❤️
Had a great stay at Jennifer's place and she was super helpful with all the appropriate instructions! Clover is such a nice pup and always wants to cuddle with you. Definitely has some energy and good to take her outside to play. The cat is super easy to take care of and spends a lot of its day outside.
