STEPHANIE
What a great way to start our trip around Yorkshire.

Stephanie and Derek, thank you for letting us look after your fantastic new home and providing all the information we needed for a trouble free stay. Jeremy made the most of being able to walk to York along the riverside cycle path (a flat @5 miles to the York Museum Gardens) and we both enjoyed the 1.5mile loop with the dogs.

Bella and Charlie are both very affectionate and are no trouble to look after. They love human company and like nothing more than sitting or dozing close by (backing in to get a back rub). Come walk time they both get very excited when the leads are in sight (both calming instantly the lead is clipped on to the harness and the door is opened)! They will bark at other dogs/animals who are too far away to be of any threat including those on the TV or other side of the river but are fine with any that pass close!

Tiddles mostly finds a quiet spot to sleep, alternating between sunshine and shade but is very gentle and also happy to be with people when food is on offer.

We would absolutely say yes to a return visit should the opportunity arise.

Laura
Diane and I had a great experience taking care of Lanie while Laura and her husband were away. Laura was so nice, friendly, and easy to work with and everything to take care of Lanie was done with great care.

As it is, we are practically neighbors living about a 5-7 minute drive away. We took care of Lanie at our home. After our first conversation, we thought it might be easier if Lanie stayed over here. Laura brought Lanie over and she bounced around our home and backyard and seemed to be right at home. Laura then made the decision that it was better for us to have Lanie here and we were able to sleep in our own bed.

On the day the stay was to begin, Laura brought over everything Lanie needed including her crate to sleep in at night. Lanie was so sweet, well trained, and could not have been a better behaved dog. We had many walks, multiple walks per day, following the walks we took our 2 dogs on for many years.

Overall, a wonderful experience. We are 3 for 3 with our wonderful opportunities through the organization!

If we are asked again, and available, Laura and Lanie are welcome anytime.
