Elizabeth
Elizabeth and Jon's place was great! Prime location, and easy pets. Many of them, but all are pretty easy. The cat/dog bond that Phin and Roary had was the cutest. Chickens easy too. I have those at home and loved being around another bird crew. Responsive hosts with specific instructions. Great internet, perfect for working remotely. Full kitchen with everything you'd need. Walkable to downtown and excellent proximity to bike routes.

Laelia
It was an absolute pleasure to look after Violet, Blick and Brecc in their comfortable home in Shepherds Bush. Laelia and Jules were friendly, warm and welcoming and in spite of the long journey ahead of them were very generous with their time, going out of their way to make us feel at home and ensure that we had a pleasant stay. They were very well organised, providing us with a welcome pack with clear instructions on taking care of the cats and running the house. From the beginning we had excellent communication with our hosts, and quickly established a relaxed and chatty correspondence.

Blick and Brecc were delightful company and were always ready for a game. With a little encouragement even matronly Violet was soon scooting around after balls, once she was sure the boys weren’t around to see. Though slightly reserved at first, with a bit of individual attention she proved to be a sweetie.

The house is warm, homely and interesting and has a lovely garden, full of wildlife. It is situated on a quiet street just around the corner from the busy and vibrant Uxbridge Road with its food stores, cafés and market. Shepherds Bush underground station is just a short walk or bus ride away, providing easy access to central London. We particularly enjoyed our Tunisian meal at the Adams Café at the end of the road.

We loved this house-sit and look forward to returning.

Lucy
We had a fabulous time staying at Lucy and Nicky’s beautiful home in Canterbury.
The house is spacious and comfortable- the TV room has the most comfortable sectional!
The kitchen is equipped with everything you would need.
We didn’t actually get to meet Lucy and Nicky, we had a handover from another sitter and then left in the evening of their late arrival home. All communication though before and during the sit was quick and easy.

Mouse is the sweetest old pup who followed me around and Louie is a gentle soul, always ready for a meal.
Kit was the adventurous one, a couple times staying out all night to come in the morning exhausted from her night and sleep all day. Whereas Pringle was just happy to be home and near people.

We would love to come sit again and if you have the chance you won’t be disappointed.

Marilynne
Marilynne went above and beyond to welcome me and make my stay at Biltmore Lake in Asheville a wonderful summer I will never forget. Despite a hurricane destroying her vacation plans she kindly let me stay at her lovely modern and comfortable home in an exclusive gated residential estate with peaceful forested surroundings and just steps away from an idyllic wooded private lake. She took me kayaking on the lake and to summer lakeside evening music events and the private lake clubhouse and introduced me to her interesting friends and even other Housesitters in the area all of which I was able to spend fun times with too.
I spent many hours enjoying watching wildlife on and around the lake - I even stumbled on a turtle and a female deer four feet from me!
Her guest room and second private lounge area with TV and decking were so comfortable. Marilynne cooked delicious dinners using the bbq and even took me to a waterfall and famous historic mining town with an old general store and train track for lunch - it was a lovely drive and great afternoon.
Her cat Molly was such a sweet interactive cat with a great communicative personality - she loved to talk to me - play with her toys and with me. She was easy to care for and liked to sit on the deck with us in the morning.
Because of Marilynne and her extensive contacts and efforts she also helped me with additional lodging and petcare.
I highly recommend this housesit with sweet Molly at Biltmore Lake for anybody wanting a peaceful lake retreat with kayaking and hiking opportunities to waterfalls in the nearby national forest.
I unequivocally regard Marilynne as a special platinum level super host!

Laura
Really enjoyed this house sit in New Bern. Laura was very hospitable and has a very nice and comfortable home. Communication was great. Her pups are the absolute best--so friendly, funny and cute. They are also very well-behaved. We loved spending time with them. New Bern is a charming town and very walkable. It has lots of nice restaurants and views of the water are lovely.

We had such an AMAZING experience staying with Fiona & Cheech! They were super easy going pups. Fiona loves her play time, but is good with chill'in too. Cheech is a little snuggler and love her enthusiasm when she wanted treats!

Thanks Gabby & Chris for trusting us on your boat and with your pups. We love boat living and the relaxed lifestyle it affords. We are happy to sit anytime! Thanks again!
