We could not have asked for a better sitter than Aexis. She was communicative with us, and caring with our dog Daisy. Aexis took care of the house perfectly for a five week stay, it looked exactly as we had left it when we returned. We really appreciated that Aexis reached out with a question or information when needed, but also allowed us to get away from it all by taking care of matters independently. Aexis is a very kind person and having someone like her in our home for such a long time was a gift.
Skyler and Kayley were great sitters! Our two dogs took to them very fast and they settled in so quickly. The house was super clean and tidy when we got back and they took care of everything we asked them too. They sent photos and kept us up to date. We would happily invite them back to our house anytime!
Lauren was an awesome sitter for my (big) puppy Zoey! She took great care of her while I was away on a business trip and provided me with with daily updates with photos & videos. I returned home to a perfectly clean house as I left it, she even changed my linens so I didn’t have to fuss with them after my long ✈️ flight home, and my pup was very happy. Lauren is a very thoughtful, caring, and responsible person who loves animals. I highly recommend her, and Zoey will definitely be having her new “Auntie Lauren” sit for her again!
We had the most cozy and unforgettable Christmas with Mila! She is the most cuddly and gentle dog we've ever seen so far, you will fall in love with her instantly! Extra tip: She will adore you if you give her butt scratches, and you will connect faster! (hahaha) We miss her so much and it was really hard for us to say goodbye... We miss her shy, wavy tail every morning when she was patiently waiting for us upstairs to wake up, the morning cuddles on the couch while watching the sunrise and drinking a hot cup of coffee, the walks in the beautiful, picturesque forest, and her funny way of sniffing the ground and jumping like a kangaroo while playing. Agh...she was so cute when she was placing her toys gently on our feet to ask us if we could play with her, when she wouldn't stop licking our hands and giving us doggo kisses, and when she would fall asleep while listening to her favorite Ghibli playlist and hearing us cooking dinner. She is super quiet, and kind and will always listen to your commands and make you feel secure on your walks. We would love to pet-sit her again in the future! We really also enjoyed Charlotte's and Rakesh's conversations. They were really kind to host us 2 days before due to our flight schedule and they are the most easygoing and humorous people. Charlotte is super organized and made sure we can find anything we might need about Mila and the house in a super helpful Word document and did such a good preparation of our room for us and Rakesh gave us so useful information about the rest of our stay in Amsterdam. They are so kind, like Mila and they were always there for us if we ever needed something during our stay. Their home is also gorgeous, with lots of space, beautiful minimal decoration, a big kitchen with everything you might need, fast wifi, a very comfortable bed and they have the perfect bathroom! They even share a huge, communal garden with a big natural pool with the other residents from the complex where you can watch the sunset while sitting on a picnic bench, drink a hot cup of tea, read a book, and admire the peaceful nature. Their neighborhood as well as the area is so safe because lots of families are living there, the supermarket is 5 minutes away and the transportation is every 15 minutes and connects you to the train station if you would like to visit Amsterdam. From our experience, if you are a relaxed person, seeking peace and nature surrounded by beautiful Dutch buildings and houses with gardens and magnificent parks and forests,..Amsterdam does not compare to Almere! Trust us! You will want to go back to Almere ASAP!
