Susan
Sitting for Susan was a dream sit!

There are a few keywords that as a sitter I look for when reading reviews: would return to sit again, don’t hesitate, five stars all the way around.

For me spending 12 days with Annie in Susie’s lovely Dunwoody home was a quiet personal sanctuary. I can reiterate previous reviews that her home is conveniently located, nicely decorated and abundant greenery in/out. It was a super relaxing and enjoyable sit. The house was tidy and absolutely enjoyable.

Annie loves to passenger around town so, if like me, you have your own transportation, you can confidently take Annie to outside eateries, etc without fear. She doesn’t bark or cause a fuss ever! The most chill girl I’ve had the joy to be with. If she needs something she will ‘bop’ your arm. For me it was to go outside and have playtime. She doesn’t run off or have any desires then to eat, sleep and hang out with you! Annie is good for your heart!

Susan is a super host and makes your time easy and I felt more than welcome. There was space for me, my things and my decisions on how to spend my time. I was grateful that Susie didn’t hesitate to allow my adult daughter to visit for a few days during the sit; and as a retired mom it did my heart good to capitalize on those precious moments together.

Susie’s neighbors were also very friendly in all the right ways. I would LOVE to return whenever I am in the area.

Fern
I had a fantastic stay with Biscuit and Summer! They are two adorable and affectionate dogs, who were immediately at ease and made me feel equally so. Fern was a great communicator and host, and was very efficient in all she did to make it a seamless process. The added touches of leaving some treats and making the place comfortable were much appreciated and very kind. Thank you, Fern and pups! I’d love to come back.

I LOVED this pet/house sit. Such a nice family, a warm full-of-character northeast Portland home & a neighborhood that’s incredibly fun to explore. Park, coffee shops, cute little stores. But the BEST part was Dylan, such a sweet dog. It's been a week and I still miss him, a real snuggler with thoughtful eyes. Ellie, an indoor/outdoor cat, does her own thing, disappearing for hours at time, mostly coming back for food. But she loves attention, especially when
hanging out on the porch. Would come back any time.

Prue
We thoroughly enjoyed sitting for Prue's furry family! Prue greeted us warmly and made us feel at home immediately. She went out of her way to make us a wonderful evening meal upon our arrival and had collected all the info on the area for us to ensure we had a good time. Her two cats, Eccoles and Neddie, are delightful. They are extremely gentle, very friendly and happy to sit by you or in the room with you for company. Prue's home is clean, comfortable and located just steps from the town market and all the shops and restaurants. This was a wonderful sit (except for all the rain we encountered) but we'd love to sit here again if the opportunity arose. Highly recommend.

Wing
Caring for multiple pets always comes with a few challenges, especially when there is little to no familiarity with the pets, and their need to get used to a new routine. I am glad we were able to schedule a meet and greet beforehand. Ollie took some time to warm up to me during the housesit because he was not used to a lot of people. It was important to not rush the interaction and allow him the space he needed to feel comfortable. It truly warmed my heart when he finally wagged his tail at me and put his nose under my hand to get me to scratch his ear. Sophie was my constant shadow and sat in my lap during the times I was working. Chewy was hilarious with his over enthusiasm for his treats. It was a delight (and a fight for the covers) when having all three on the bed with me when we turned in for the night. The home was located in a nice and quiet area where there were daily visits from the local deer population. (Of course, the dogs gave these visitors hearty welcomes every single day.) Although the WiFi connectivity was excellent, cell phone service was spotty at times -- keep this in mind depending on the cell service provider. Luckily, I was able to stay in communication with Wing throughout the housesit. I am also grateful for the snacks and the use of the home gym!
