I spent August Bank Holiday weekend at Vicky and Richard’s home near to Bristol. A very nice house which felt very warm and welcoming. Only about 20 minutes’ drive (30 mins bus) from the city centre and also only 20 minutes’ drive to the city of Bath. Richard and Vicky made me feel very welcome upon my arrival and had prepared a very comprehensive guide online. Everything was easy and comfy. Kitkat, the main man, was a lovely, friendly cat who was also very independent. He spent most of the night out on the town hunting and would appear in the morning for his breakfast or sometimes snuggle up at the foot of the bed if he came home early. He’d spend a lot of time sleeping during the day but always loved a bit of attention and a good old face rub. All in all, one of the best and easiest sits I’ve had the pleasure of doing and I’d highly recommend having a break with Kitkat if you get the opportunity. Leticia and Ricardo were very welcoming to me and even invited me for dinner the night after they returned. The pets were also lovely and I really bonded with Boniface. He is a very cute dog who always wants to be with you. The apartment is lovely with amazing facilities such as washer/dryer, internet, modern kitchen, heated floor and a balcony. The complex also has a garden, lounge and gym that you can use. The location is also perfect - very close to Sutton station and lots of buses.
What a wonderful petsit with the fabulous Mau the cat! Poppy is very warm and inviting and organised with all details needed, to help out with your petsit. Mau is a ivory independent cat,Happy to be out on her 'adventures' but equally happy to cosy up and enjoy your company.She will let you know exactly what she wants!! The house is in a great area for exploring Bristol and beyond.A train station a ball throw away plus the bustle of Gloucester Road with its many shops is just down the hill. I thoroughly recommend this petsit to you all.....loved every minute and the time just flew.
I LOVED this house-sit! Diane and Bear are so incredibly welcoming, considerate, and kind---they are lovely human beings! And the pups absolutely stole my heart. Pippa is very affectionate and sweet while Harley is very calm, thoughtful, and deliberate. I have never met a dog like him before--he is so mellow and sweet! I have also never met better-behaved dogs; they are so attuned to you that they are so easy to walk and such great hiking companions. Finally, Diane and Bear's home is lovely, comfortable and quiet, with amazing views of the mountains. I would sit for Diane and Bear again anytime!
Housesitting Leigh and Ian's stunning home and lovable Schnauzers, Chloe and Theo, was just the best thing ever. These two fluffy teddy bears are a lot of fun and full of energy. They love bedtime cuddles and relish endless playtime. Taking them for walks to the river via the vineyard and forest is something too. Leigh and Ian are both absolutely lovely, welcoming and genuine hosts, and we really loved spending time with them the evening before their departure and again on their return. Access to their e-bikes made for a special outing to many local wineries and our evenings were enjoyed overlooking their vineyard and olive groves. Their home is truly gorgeous and has everything you need to have a stupendous bow wow wowsie incredible stay. Thanks guys x
Hector is a gorgeous cat - very friendly, easy going and loves a scratch. Briony was so easy to communicate with and left clear and comprehensive instructions for the sit. Their home is in a lovely safe area, easy to catch buses directly into central London - alternatively a walk to a National Rail station takes about 20 minutes. Lordship Lane is an amazing high street that is nearby with lots of stores to browse in and amazing food options. I’d highly recommend this place.
