Marisa and Nick are a delightful couple, they have a comfortable home and very simple, loving pets. The home guide was clear, there was lots of room in the guest bedroom and the fridge, although almost no space was needed for this short sit. Parking is off-street on their driveway and they're close to grocery stores and a great arts cinema. Play with me, feed me, play with me, feed me... and then Ollie wakes up for a snack and a walk ;-) Remy mostly kept his distance sleeping on the warm register for the fun 24 hours I was there. Ramen was always around or on my lap, Ollie mostly slept the days away. Thanks for the great weekend, and trusting me with the care of pets and home. Glad you got home before the snow started! Look forward to staying in touch, Kim.
We arrived at Debbie and Simon's to a very warm welcome and lovely home cooked meal. We stayed in the gite next to the beautiful chateau and extensive gardens. Debbie and Simon ensured we had all the info/facilities needed for our stay. Kaide and Kenji are very undemanding, laid back pooches who enjoyed their daily walk around the local fishing lake, and a swagger through town. Kaida, being an Akita, is a strong dog but who is easily manageable on a short lead. Kenji js just a dood. Chaos (le chat) sleeps most of the time, but doesn't snore like Kaida! We enjoyed our evening ritual of fighting with the furries for prime place on the sofa to watch TV! Le Donjon has all the amenities needed for day to day living, and the nearest hypermarket is in Digoin (15 miles). Cosmopolitan Vichy is 30 miles away and is a nice day out. We enoyed our Christmas and New Year at Chateau les Bernards, and wouldn't hesitate to recommend this house sit, and would like to thank Debbie and Simon for their hospitality.
I had a great time looking after Yogi. He is an amazing dog—super chill, smart, and sweet—who loves human company. Zara and Laurie were very easy to communicate with. They made me feel so welcome, which meant a lot. They were kind enough to get some groceries to make my life easier, as Yogi cannot be left alone. Communication with them was effortless, and I felt like I've made new friends. For those interested in working from home, Laurie has a next-level setup. The flat is spacious, with a well-equipped kitchen and a large, cozy living room. There are multiple places to work from, so you've got options :) The flat is conveniently located within walking distance to many parts of Glasgow and the downtown area. Five stars from me! I'd gladly do it again!
Had a great time at Hazel and Tom’s place! Their house is lovely, in a perfect location. The neighborhood is very fun to look around. Katie is such a cutie, even though she’s shy, with a little encouragement she will play with you right away. And you can even see her trying to approach you with time. Thanks again for opening your home to me for the holidays! Would absolutely recommend sitting for Hazel if you have the chance :)
Beautiful loving dogs. Excellent place. Safe, quiet, comfortable, serene. Highly recommend.
Hoya. It was a pleasure looking after your lovely home and getting to know Rocky and JJ.
