We had a very enjoyable 10 day sit for Coco who is a delight. Denise and Justin are very good hosts. The house and sitter accommodation are very comfortable. We felt very relaxed and at home, the kitchen and outdoor area in particular were great. The house is in a great location with some really nice walks literally on the doorstep, with the walk down along the river into Lyme a highlight. Coco really enjoys playing fetch with a ball or stick and the beach is an ideal location. Coco is very easy to care for. She is lovely, affectionate and always up for a walk and cuddles. We highly recommend this sit.
We had a wonderful time in Rawtenstall staying in Rob & Steve’s spacious and tastefully furnished apartment. The star of it all was Luka the cat. It was a pleasure to make friends with him and spend time playing and snoozing together. He is a lovely boy with a very good nature and takes pride in his appearance and enjoys a good brush. Communication with Rob and Steve was friendly and straightforward. We visited the apartment before the sit started to get the lowdown on how everything worked and Luka’s routine. We were made very welcome and felt instantly at home. Rawtenstall is a beautiful place to stay with lovely walks, bars and restaurants nearby. Other local towns are only a short journey away and are full of history and charm. We would love to sit for Rob and Steve again sometime and we highly recommend this sit - a definite 5 stars.
It was a pleasure to meet Pam the evening before the sit and share a lovely meal she had prepared for us and also an opportunity to go through the information and instructions to ensure we had no problems or questions. Pam’s home is very comfortable and is in a great location being only a very short walk into the centre of Uppingham with it’s interesting buildings and plenty of good places to eat and drink. We loved being there. We were lucky to have very good weather so also really enjoyed relaxing in Pams beautiful garden usually with Sydney nearby having a snooze in the flower bed ! . Sydney is a super cat. Very easy to care for and affectionate once he felt comfortable with us. We were careful to let him do that at his own pace and it was so rewarding when he finally decided he was ready to climb onto my lap for some fuss and brushing. A great housesit. Carol and Bill made the sit really easy. They provided lots of information and met up with me beforehand to show me round the house and show me how everything works. Percy is the most loving cat I have ever met and I was slightly heartbroken to leave!
Thank you Micaela for the opportunity of caring for Tully while seeing if the location is a good fit for me (looking to downsize). It was really handy being so close to the train station, and a nice stroll to supermarkets. Tully warmed up quickly and we were very comfortable together. The home was compact and convenient too, and I enjoyed several of the novels.
