One of our favourite sits to this day. We wanted to take care of dachshunds for a long while and are so happy we had the opportunity to finally do it. Willa and Olga are adorable and very loving. They have very different personalities and if you spend time with them and observe them they are very very funny. Once they get to know you better, they are playful and really like cuddles. We'd say they are gourmands as they are quite greedy with food - even food they are not supposed to eat. Don't be fooled by their height - they are crafty and can reach places you would not expect. It is important to listen to the guidance given by the owners. The review might make them look like they are a lot of work - they are not. The girls are great companions and will make you laugh often. Poppy the cat is low maintenance. Loves her food to be on time and her cuddles to be on her terms. She is vocal when she needs something. We had a great time here and thank our hosts for inviting us. We'd love to come back.
A perfect first sit experience. Minnie is such a cutie and no trouble at all. She enjoyed playing fetch with her toys, which was great for tiring her out. Skittles and Fluffy are both very independent but happy for some fuss and affection. They were a pleasure to look after. Carli communicated regularly prior to the sit with Info about the location, timings and contact details. All went smoothly, thank you
Keith and Michelle are both very kind and thoughtful. My family and I felt welcomed as soon as we walked in to their house. They prepared a delicious meal upon our arrival, which was great after a long day of travel. Mabel and Talulah were absolute sweethearts. They became acquainted with us very fast. They were awesome companions, and kept us entertained. They were also very easy to care for. We would definitely return to stay with Mabel and Lulah again!
This was a definite 5 star housesit! Cathy & Linda made us feel so welcome right off the bat. Rusty Riley and Ollie stole our hearts very quickly. They loved their walks, which made us get moving in the mornings...the neighborhood is beautiful, safe and so charming and friendly. The proximity to Lake Morton, downtown restaurants and farmers market is so very handy. The backyard oasis with the birds and flowers made me feel that we were somewhere very exotic. The house is so warm and inviting- we felt very comfortable and at home right away...and of course having a pooch snuggle beside us just added to that comfortable feeling. The boys are so very well behaved. They are funny, snuggly and playful. Head over heels in love with those boys!!! The welcome guide was very informative and allowed us to navigate everything while we were there. We would happily return to hang out with our favorite boys any time. I had a great time hanging out with Bodhi and Walter! Walter is so shy but he eventually realized I was the food dispenser and figured it was important to establish a good relationship! He warmed up to me on day 3. Bodhi was the opposite. He loved pets and a lap to sit on. They're both easy going and very sweet kitties. Communication with Gail was seamless and I could recommend ?%
We had a brief video chat prior to the sit where I received a home tour, and I was able to virtually meet with Kimber and Sable. Excellent communication throughout! Susan's home was clean, beautiful, and welcoming. The guestroom accommodations were top-notch. She provided a thorough welcome guide with detailed instructions and lots of local recommendations. The restaurant recommendations did not disappoint, and the idea to take a scenic boat ride on a nearby lake turned into an impromptu date night. We kept our outings short because we wanted to spend as much time with Kimber and Sable as possible. Kimber and Sable were an absolute delight! They are both incredibly sweet and have excellent manners. They are affectionate, playful, and very low maintenance. We ❤️ Kimber and Sable and felt so privileged at the opportunity to hang out with them!
