Cheyenne did a great job taking care of our anxious dog. He can be very challenging and barks often. He was in good health when we got home. Cheyenne was also clean, but our cleaner also came while she was in our home. The houseplants didn’t appear to get watered and aren’t looking so hot, but much less important than the care of our doggie!
We had a great stay looking after Suki and Pan! Although we didn't have a chance to meet in person, Lucia and George made us feel super welcome in their home and were very easy to stay in touch with. Their welcome guide and arrival instructions were clear and detailed, and they clearly put a lot of thought and effort into making sure we were comfortable in their lovely cottage. A little over a mile from the train station (and with the very kind offer of making use of their bikes!) meant that we were able to get around by public transport with no problem. Suki and (especially) Pan are affectionate and friendly and we had fun playing with their toys with them as well as giving them lots of good pets and pats (they are both so soft!!). They are easygoing kitties, and we very much enjoyed looking after them! Would 100% recommend this sit.
I had a fantastic time housesitting for Maggie and Cody and it was easy to follow their clear and thorough instructions on Nara and Juni's routines. Nara's affectionate yet sassy nature and Juni's playful kitten antics made the stay especially enjoyable. Both pets are good at letting you know when it is play or cuddle time! The location is perfect if you want to check out any of the fun hubs of Somerville and Boston. Maggie and Cody also left sticky notes around the apartment so I could quickly find anything I needed while I was there, which was very helpful and thoughtful. Overall, I highly recommend this housesit for anyone looking for a fulfilling stay in Somerville with a delightful dachshund and kitten duo.
Amy was extremely helpful in giving info about her baby. She checked in regularly and made everything seamless. Would definitely help out anytime!
Ringo was the best dog, an absolute character. We loved taking care of him, only it went too quick! Daisy and Hunter have a great place and were amazing hosts. Their place is right near Victoria Park, so it was super easy to take Ringo for walks. Miss the little guy already….
Jude, Molly, Luna, & Roux are such a sweet crew to watch! They are all very friendly and well behaved. Lisa’s home is very peaceful and she is so kind! She had all of the feeding and medicine schedules clearly explained via video as well as written out on a whiteboard.
We are so grateful to have had the opportunity to enjoy San Anselmo, Hazel and Jay's beautiful home and, of course, sweet Jenna. The communication leading up to our sit and throughout the three weeks we were there was great. We were able to come a day early so we could get the details of the house and Jenna's personality, likes and quirks. The house is in a great location with nearby parks, hikes, shopping, and downtown. We were able to enjoy the open kitchen, backyard and comfortable living spaces. Jenna is the sweetest, smartest Golden who loves people more than other animals. On our daily walks, most people would stop and ask about her age and comment on what a cutie she is. She is also very funny when it comes to hiding her toys and getting us to save them for her. Our stay with Jenna was very comfortable and peaceful and we'd be happy to sit for Hazel, Jay and Jenna again.
