It was great to look after Luke and Renee's apartment at Hamilton on the Brisbane River. A nice area to walk around or catch the city cat, ferry, into the city. Supermarkets were also just a short drive away. The cats were great and easy to look after. They were soon coming up for snuggles or sitting on our knees. Luke and Renee also provided clear instructions for feeding them. We would highly recommend this sit.
Sitting for Adam and Lee was a dream come true! Not only do they have the most stunning house in a lovely neighbourhood of Hampstead Heath, Marley the cat is officially my all-time favorite kitty! Absolutely beautiful, super sweet and gentle, and looooves snuggles! Also very playful and loves her feather toys, she was very entertaining to watch play! Initially Marley would sleep in other parts of the house the entire day then come hang out with me in the evening, but as the days went by, she really warmed up and wanted to be around me most of the day, either sleeping nearby when I was working, or keeping an eye on what I was doing when I wasn't working. And whenever I sat down, she would instantly jump on me, start making biscuits and purr loudly. She is a true sweetheart and the most adorable kitty you could imagine!! Adam and Lee are excellent hosts, very friendly, easy-going and welcoming, and they were super patient and understanding when I had issues with my passport and my arrival was delayed for a number of days! Communication was a breeze. The house is very fresh as it has been recently refurbished, bright, modern and tastefully decorated. I felt at home from the second I arrived, and had the BEST sleep in the guest bedroom - such a comfy bed! The home was left tidy and clean for me, and Adam and Lee cleared up space in the closet for me to hang up my clothes. All in all, this was my all-time favourite sit so far, and I would sit for Adam and Lee again in a heartbeat. Highly recommended!
We had a lovely time sitting for Naomi and Chris. Bingley and Sybil are great dogs. You can take them for beautiful walks right by the house. Both dogs are super easy to manage. Sybil can be a bit reactive towards other dogs but is easily managed with treats, distraction and remaining vigilant for dogs if she is off leash. Bingley is a classic Great Dane - a gentle giant. Both Bingley and Sybil are super affectionate, have lovely temperaments and are a pleasure to be around. We will miss them both! Naomi and Chris were very easy going and responsive to any questions we had. They were very accommodating. Naomi picked us up from the train station and kindly even let us use their car! Even if you can't use a car, their house is right by a bus stop and it is easy to get into town from there. York was a great place to visit and we would certainly come back again.

I had such a wonderful time with Fluffy and Brutus. Fluffy may be quite old, but she still has energy and enjoys her sniff walks and sunbathing in the backyard. She sleeps a lot but also seeks out pets when she is interested. Brutus is an affectionate sweetheart who likes to know what you're up to and is always ready to join in for a walk or couch time. Keep some treats in your pocket for when the FedEx truck goes by and he will keep his eyes on the prize! Brutus's enthusiastic response when you take out the leash is the best, and I'm going to miss his antics! Helen and Martin were lovely hosts. I arrived the night before they left to get oriented and meet the pups. They were kind enough to make dinner for me, and it was great to have time to ask them questions and get the scoop on things to do while I was in town. The house is spacious, bright and clean, and the neighborhood is in a great location. There are trails that start just down the street that head into the foothills, and Brutus was happy to hike these with me. It only takes a few minutes to drive to the grocery store, coffee shop or restaurants, and Lake Tahoe is such a short drive away, too. I had a lot of fun exploring the area and would be happy to come back again!
I had a lovely weekend stay in Emma’s cozy apartment with the cutest pets. Olive is independent but very sweet and took her chance to cuddle while soft Theo was being shy at first, he quickly got over it and claimed the attention he deserves. Emma was a great host and I’d love to come back anytime!
