Val and AJ are the SUPER sitters and this was their second sit for us. Mediocrity is not even in their vocabulary. I don't think there could be more happy cats and happy people in this review. We were so happy with their care of our animals, I reckon the cats must have thought they were on their own vacation. AJ and Val sent really adorable pictures every day and they brought their own cat toys. Our home was clean and tidy when we arrived home. Highly recommend 10/10.

Had a great few days with Gizmo and Ilam, they are both very friendly, easy to care for, and love some attention. The home was very nice, very clean, and Sasha and Doug were lovey too.
Honestly, this was the best house we sat since joining THS a few years ago. It is a lovely, spacious, well-appointed home in what many consider to be the best Portland neighborhood, including us. (I lived in Portland several years ago) It had everything we needed to be comfortable, including the use of their E-500 Fiat to get around with. (I have a current Oregon license)The backyard was spacious, blooming and serene. Their three pets were easy to care for and soon warmed up to us. Missy and Poopy have their own small room off the dining room to sleep in at night. There is an activated dog door for them and Magic to go in and out to the fenced in yard. Magic is a very cool cat that would come visit us in our bedroom at night and in the mornings as well. Susan and Scott were always available on WhatsApp to answer any questions and appreciate the pics and videos of their pets we'd send. We recommend this houseit wholeheartedly and would love to do it again when we come back summer.
I stayed at Amy's pet sit and had a fantastic stay. The home was totally delectable and it was an honour to spend time in Amy home The house was warm, comfortable and I was instantly made to feel at home. The highlight of the sit , was taking care of the three delightful dogs. Heather, Harry and molly. They were all full of character and good fun and loads of cuddles. It was an honour to sit and I would highly recommend any one to grab the opportunity to visit three great dogs. Thank you Amy
What a lovely sit! Carolyn has a beautiful, comfortable home and is a generous and relaxed host. The village is ideally situated to explore the local area, and has a very handy co-op nearby, as well as several good pubs and take-aways. Both dogs are absolutely adorable. Basil is vocal but well-behaved and both he and gentle Ivy enjoy lots of sofa cuddles and a good play in Carolyn’s enormous garden. The rainy weather meant I couldn’t take full advantage of this wonderful outdoor space, but it is something to behold. I absolutely loved this sit with such lovely doggy company.
House: It's like a magical treehouse set up on the hill. It was Heavenly and only 15 minutes from great beaches. It's very clean and comfortable. I loved all the Lanai seating. It's a really nice, safe neighborhood and great for walking. Pets: Sadie and Boy are sweet, friendly, and very low maintenance. They are both such calm and gentle creatures.... except when Sadie's excited to see you. She gets so happy she spins in circles. It's hilarious! Humans: Melina and Jon are awesome. They set everything up seamlessly They are proactive communicators and streamline the process so efficiently. They are very generous and welcoming. Everything about this sit was perfect!

Laura took the best care of my cats and my dog! She is reliable and thorough and my pets all loved her visits. I had cats getting medications which wasn’t an issue. I never had to worry about them when I was away, and using the Time to Pet app was great for updates and pictures. I 100% recommend her services and I would still be using her if I wasn’t moving a couple of hours away.
My Luna who will be 3 years old in July 2022 is a pit:lab mix. Luna went to doggie daycare the first half of her life. Everything was fine until she was involved in an altercation with another dog and was bit. Purrfect Pet Companion is the only service I trust to watch my fur babies, Bentley (golden retriever) and Cali (cat). They are reliable, responsive, and very sweet! Not to mention that it makes Bentley’s day whenever he sees them! I know that I can leave for as short or as long as I need to and my babies will be not only well looked after but also having a lot of fun, cuddles, and treats. 11/10 recommend!!
I have been using PURRfect Pet Companion for about a year now and am beyond satisfied with how well they take care of my big, goofy boy, Pretzel. He is always so excited when they come and each one of his walkers handles him beautifully. They often make time to say hello to the feline housemates as well when they visit. I love getting notes and pictures. They even took care of the cats when Pretzel joined us for a getaway and did a fantastic job, especially with all the food and med demands. We have been using PURRfect Pet for about 5 years now. They have provided outstanding loving care to our 2 bengals which thrive on an interactive visit experience. I used PURRfect Pet Companion for my beta fish while going away on a short vacation. I had actually been very stressed because all of the slow release/digital feeders you can buy online had terrible reviews claiming they killed their fish while away on vacation. I was so nervous to leave my little guy with one of those. I really appreciated that Laura from PPC was willing to accommodate a fish and there wasn't any weird judgement about it (you'd be surprised how little people care about fish sometimes). She was very nice and did a great job! She even took pictures of him daily! I felt better having someone just check-in on our house in general while we were away too. She brought in our mail, watered plants, etc. I would definitely use her again in the future!
Laura & the team at Purrfect Pet Companion are FANTASTIC! Laura came to meet us for an initial visit and I was instantly comfortable and knew she was the perfect person to care for our Yorkie while we work during the day. She and her team are incredibly thorough with notes of their daily activities and texts during the day letting me know how the visit went. They are reliable and have trekked out in any weather to make sure Lucy gets a walk. Most of all they take excellent and loving care of our pup! A+!
I would recommend PURRfect Pet Companion to anyone! We were nervous at first to leave our cat alone while we were away. But Laura asked so many questions and took really detailed notes at our initial meeting, plus our cat loved Laura from the start. We got texts every day with pictures and a summary of how she was doing that day, how she was eating and what they did that visit (brushing, playing, etc). We will definitely use this service again the next time we travel.
Tracy has been pet sitting my cats for a while now, maybe 2 years(?), over which she has developed a good relationship with them all!! She has a lot of availability and she has reasonable rates. She does a great job making sure they are all well attended while we are out. It is hard leaving them since they are older and have some medicines they need- she takes care of it all. Really great to have Tracy taking care of our fur babies!

I get nervous leaving my two cats because we are so attached but I would not trust anyone other than Tracy to care for them when I go away! They are not sociable cats but love Tracy and get obviously excited when they hear her voice, and I believe that that really says something about her as a person and animal lover! She has been available to cat-sit very last minute and is willing to do as many visits per day as my babies need. She sends daily pictures and updates. Tracy is very accommodating and you can tell she genuinely cares about both the pets’ and the owners’ needs. Highly recommend Tracy’s services whether for daily visits or occasional visits!!!

This was the first time we left our 2 young cats at home to go away on a vacation — and The Puppy Butler made us feel completely at ease & that our kitties were in the best of hands. They are true animal lovers and are the most honest, reliable, and competent pet professionals I’ve ever met. Simply put, I wouldn’t trust leaving my 3-year old bulldog with anyone else. I’ve faithfully and exclusively used The Puppy Butler for walks, sitting, and overnight boarding for a while now, and have recently just started using them for their new active offleash playtime sessions as well. I so look forward to receiving the adorable photos and videos they send me each day, as it’s such a delight seeing my little chunky furball running around free in nature on their beautiful lawns. Perhaps the most impressive thing of all is that with their expertise, they have successfully managed to somehow get my extra-stubborn bulldog actually excited and engaged for a full hour of energetic playtime each day (although it does result in some serious snoring when he’s taking his post-playtime doggy nap…). I love Furry Buddies! Our two whippet dogs had the best team of walkers: Tracey, Corbey, Brian, and Carol Ann! Each walker treated our pups with kindness, gave them treats and toys, and absolutely left an impression. The dogs would wag their tails at the front door when a furry buddy walker was at the door! Truly excellent service, always on time, and reliable, and great value. I always felt comfortable and trusted the walkers. Very much recommend their services.
I used Furry Buddies for around 7-8 years. Everyone I met was kind, caring and extremely reliable. They communicated well and if one of the staff was planning a day off and they provided a replacement. I felt so comfortable and relieved knowing they were with my dog,Lexi. They would call or text me if they noticed anything different about her. Their daily notes were great and when I had to say goodbye to her at 15 years old I received cards and beautiful gift from her walker amd the owner made a donation in her memory to a local rescue. This is the best organization to help you care for your pet. It is a great price for what they do. Much more than just a “walk” they provide a loving - compassionate reliable service. Love this service. Dog watchers are trustworthy and follow directions perfectly. They call love animals, and it shows. Plus, they offer to help with things like collect the mail, water plants, and more.

The owner is highly insulting and harasses her customers. She called twenty times just to confirm two visits. The subcontractor agreed to meet after the visits were completed and then declined. After all this, the owner wanted to charge extra.

I cannot say enough good things about this place!!! We no longer live in the area and we still bring our dog to board here whenever we are away. Our puppy was incredibly nervous around people when we first got her. Instead of turning her away the staff took the time to sit with her and give her time to warm up. Now she loves it there and is comfortable with the staff. The hours are amazing and the price is the best around. It is family owned and they really get to know you and your pet. They always answer the phone or call you right back. Highly recommend!
Wonderful experience, first time boarding my pups while on vacation. They were there Saturday to Saturday, three English Bulldogs, one with visual impairment and incontinent issues. I felt at ease while on vacation knowing they were safe and well taken care of. They shared an area and were kept together, fed regularly and were out to relieve them self. I would recommend this business. The owner has a heart of gold and you can always find her on the premises, hands on taking care of the dogs.
They are wonderful! My dog loves going and always comes home exhausted from playing with his friends. They love them and take great care of them! Each room feels like home with couches, beds, TV's.
Stay and play is the best! I highly trust Carol and the rest of her staff to care for my 2 dogs when I am at work or out of town. The dogs love playing with their friends and have the best time. My daughter has a covid dog. Meaning he is not socialized. We were hesitant to take him, but we needed to board him. When we bought him in the knowledge & comfort of everyone working there, it made us feel at it ease. They helped calm our dog down & were able to take him with no problems. I recently used Stay & Play Pet resort to take care of my 10 months old kitten Ralphie when I was going out of town on vacation. I am so happy I chose this "resort" for my furbaby. The entire staff is very caring and took great care of my kitten. He got his own room and the staff visited him throughout the day to ensure he was well cared for and for some attention. I called daily to check on him and everyone was very kind and gave updates on how Ralphie's day was going. I am definitely going to reserve a stay for all of my vacations because it gave me such peace of mind knowing my lil furbaby was happy and in good hands. It was the best situation for my two dogs and my two cats while we were away on vacation. The staff at best friends treated my fur babies like family! It’s always hard to leave your pets behind when you go away, but knowing that they are safe and in good hands makes all the difference. It allowed us to enjoy our vacation and know that our fur babies were well cared for! I cannot thank the staff there enough. Christine was exceptionally helpful and put our minds at rest!
I had just rescued 2 small dogs with PTSD, but had a trip planned a year in advance. Avery at Best Friends invited us to come visit and see if a stay would be possible. Avery was amazing at communicating and understanding our situation. The staff were very gentle and loving with our dogs, including carrying the more scared dog to our car. I am confident they were well cared for and am relieved we have a safe place for our dogs when they need boarding.
Absolutely wonderful service! I’ve been taking my Corgi here for the last year and a half, and if he was able to speak I know he would say that he had the most amazing time every time he’s been there! The staff is lovely, the facility smells nice and is clean! 100% would recommend taking my dog here!
I LOVE this place! I have an English Bulldog, and in my experience, the usual franchise grooming places do not want to spend the time grooming him because they’re so afraid of what might could happen because of his breed. Best Friends is AWESOME. I explained my concerns to them, and they reassured me that they have the experience with English Bulldogs, and that he would not be a problem for them. He has used their grooming services and has even been boarded for about a week. They are very timely, communicative, offer so many things to your pup, and are so very nice. They are the only grooming place I use now. They do such a remarkable job!
We booked a few night boarding stay for our German Shepard here after we moved and needed a closer spot. Our pup was well cared for and came home happy. We also had him groomed before coming home and it was one of the best grooms he's ever gotten!
After shopping for a good hotel for my dog I finally found one that she enjoys. She was pampered and loved by the staff. When I picked her up she was happy to see me and appeared that she enjoyed her stay. The staff and groomer were very professional the called me to let me know she was ready and had her bath and nails trimmed. Facility is very clean and temperature was great. No smell odor free. 🐩👍
Best Friends Pet Hotel was very nice for my 2 dogs while we were away on vacation. Since we had older dogs (rescues) who had never been socialized when young, they were kind enough to place our dogs in a part of the facility which was more quiet and would take both dogs outside without other dogs around as they don't get along with other dogs. The place was very clean, and the people who work there are very kind and considerate. I would definitely recommend them for day care, camp, or staying.
My baby has been going here for 4 years. He loves the play group as well as boarding. He has stayed there sometimes just for the day, sometimes a weekend and sometimes for longer stays. They are great and make each fur baby feel like they are the most special.
Women who run the pet hotel are always helpful and kind. They also love animals, so I know my dog is well taken care off

When I lived in PA I used their services, and had an overall awesome experience. I have a mixed breed, he is a Collie, Jack Russell, Lab mix. Least to say, he is extremely high energy. With my boyfriend and I having full time jobs during the weekdays, it’s hard to fit in all the walks it takes to keep him happy. This has been a massive improvement on his over all quality of life and the professionalism we have seen is extremely comforting. Will use again if we end up moving back to the area!

Mark and his team are the absolute best! Mark reached out to me within 30 min of me sending a message on the website inquiring about their business. He quickly set up a meet and greet visit, took very detailed notes during the consultation and spent almost an hour getting to know our kitty. We then met each individual sitter before our trip and they also took detailed notes. All our sitters are amazing! You can tell they truly love animals and have passion for the work. They accommodated us on a short notice, took very good care of our cat and sent picture updates on each visit. They also did a fantastic job cleaning up accidents and updated me on my cat’s mood and health. The price for a 30 min visit is very good. Overall, my husband and I are so happy we found Mark! Your pet and your house will be in excellent hands.
We've been using Sweet Retreat for two years since moving to the area, and we are really pleased with Mark and Arlene's loving and dependable pet sitting service. They always show such a genuine interest in the safety and comfort of our two dogs, and are timely and follow all the directions we leave them. They take pictures/videos during every visit and help us to feel not so guilty when leaving our pets for a few days. :) We appreciate you guys!
I have used Sweet Retreat Pet Sitting Service for approximately 5 years. I have three large dogs. They are very reliable and dependable. I work a complicated schedule, including weekends and holidays, but they have always been able to cover my needs. It is most Susan and Steve who take care of my fur babies, but if they aren't available Mark will cover them himself.
