Looking after Hindsight was really lovely and quite easy. He’s a very sweet boy and occasionally even snuggled on my lap! He’s very chatty, especially when it comes to food and being let outside, and I loved having little conversations with him. He was always around to come back inside when he was supposed to and there were zero issues with me being out during the day while he was out. Gemma was lovely, and actually extra accommodating for me on the first two days of the sit because I was coming from quite far away. The house is very clean and well put together. It’s right off of a very cute historic street that I enjoyed wandering. I did use the train quite often and it’s a bit of a hike to get there from her house by walking, but there are buses that run (fairly accurately) just a short walk away. It was a really lovely experience and I would happily come back and look after the sweet Hindsight.
Carolyn was a GREAT host! Her apartment was clean and nicely decorated. She made sure I had everything I needed to take care of Pocket. Pocket responded well to me giving her space. She started to warm up to me when I gave her treats. I always felt safe in the neighborhood as a single female. Jay Metro Station was a little interesting at night but I never had any real issues. I preferred to take Borough Hall Station when possible! I would pet sit here again!!!
We were lucky enough to housesit for Victoria for 2 and a half months and made unforgetable memories and meaningful connections. We almost don‘t want to share our feedback because this sit is a true hidden gem :) First of all, Bacton Beach is a beautiful place, full of peace and stunning nature and the most lovely neighborhood. The seals where around this time of the year (amazing!). We loved our weekly coffees at the vegen cafe with Pip, who is absolutely happy sitting there patiently and says hello to everyone in the cafe. About Pip: He is the most intelligent and energetic dog, and at the same time full of cuddly energy and loves to rest with you and enjoy himself just by your side. He is very well trained, we let him off the leash from the first day and even if he runs with the crazy border collie energy, he will never get out of sight and always come back. We had the chance to truly get to know him during our time and can only say positive things about him. He will stay in our heart forever and we miss him so much. Victoria put a lot of effort in training him and we followed her instructions on how to keep up the good work and training. The house, the surroundings and Pip himself made this an absolute pleasure. We are so grateful for the trust Victoria gave us and we would do the sit again in a heartbeat. Sending love and greetings to both of you!
This was one of my favorite housesits to-date and I've done almost a dozen! Ren and Roo are the sweetest, cuddliest, goofiest goldendoodles you'll ever meet. They are so well-behaved and they LOVE going for walks off-leash and playing in the backyard. Emily and Ibrahim live in a beautiful home in a quiet neighborhood that is just minutes away from Pima Canyon, which has a great network of hiking and mountain bike trails. We arrived to Phoenix late the evening before, but Emily and Ibrahim graciously showed us around and were super easy to communicate with throughout our stay. I highly recommend this housesit and I hope to return for more adventures with Ren and Roo!
Hope was super responsive from the first message I sent. It was so easy to coordinate with her. Bandit has a schedule for what/how much he eats and Hope made a chart outlining it all, it was all quite straightforward (and timings can be a bit flexible). Bandit is so easy to care for and the apartment is lovely and so convenient to shops and easy to get to Center City. I would be very happy to sit for them again and I would very highly recommend to other sitters!
This was an incredible sit, Fitz and Peanut are amazing! I had so much fun taking Fitz to the nearby park and playing fetch and frisbee with him. He also loved playing in the backyard and cooling himself off in the pool. He slept in the bed with me and was very snuggly. Peanut was so sweet, when I opened up the backdoor in the morning she would meow and roll over on the chair she always sleeps on, and even let me give her some belly rubs. She also usually took a nap on my lap at night. Christine and Cody were awesome and their house is amazing. Fitz and I went in the pool in the afternoon which was much needed in the Sacramento heat. I didn't use their fire pit or gym too much but it was cool to have them. I also texted Christine a lot with too many questions and she was always helpful despite being in another continent. I would love the chance to sit for Cody and Christine with Fitz and Peanut again!
