Cat Sitters in Argyle, IL

Claire and Rosemary were perfect! Given that I had had a very bad experience with housesitters a month before their sit, I was more apprehensive than I've been. But from our initial interview I knew they would be great. I feel badly that I left the house in the handover in slight disorder, with the festive season and packing to go abroad as well as cleaning up from the privious housesitters who did a lot of damage, I wasn't able to handover to Claire and Rosemary the way I would normally do so, with a full guide and instructions written out, a spotless house etc. But with all of that and given the sit wasn't very long, Claire and Rosemary did incredibly well! I managed to run through everything the morning I left with them in person, they were communicative and helpful, gave me regular updates and left the place clean and the animals well cared for. I felt relieved when I got back, it was a very nice feeling. I highly recommend them, I'm sorry we didn't get more time to chat and get to know each other, the fesitve season was particularly chaotic this year. I would gladly have them back if they were available!

Tasha and Stuart were great. We came home to a clean house and happy pets, and they kept us informed during their stay.

I was so happy to get the opportunity to have Marc come stay at my place while I was away for so long. He got along with my pets and loved them as if they were his own and my expectations were met above and beyond. I am so grateful that he found us! I will definitely be reaching out to him in the future.

Melissa was an excellent pet and house sitter! We came back to our home, just as we left it. And our dog, Ema, was so happy and content. Melissa was great with communication and made everything easy.

David's the best. Too bad he lives in Chicago now and probably doesn't want to sit for someone in the same city or else I'd have him back every time! He's the real deal - lucky to have had him to stay with Brew when I did.

Azi was amazing from start to finish. She was communicative, reliable, and it was a joy to see her connecting with Gracie. She checked in with questions. Our home was spotless upon our return. In summary, Azi went above and beyond and I would not hesitate to invite her to care for Gracie in our home again!

Martina was great, we’d love for her to sit with us again! She was an effective and timely communicator, very self sufficient, and sent us regular updates. When we came our pup was happy, healthy, and our home was clean and tidy — definitely five stars!

Elizabeth was an amazing Sitter! She took good care of Rocky and my house! She left everything clean and just as I left it. She is welcome anytime at my house!

Appreciate all the extra communication to ensure our puppy did ok as this was his first time we were away. She truly connected with our baby! All four animals just loved her and seemed comfortable and happy!

Jorie is definitely a 5 star housesitter! She was easy to communicate with and provided wonderful daily updates on our dogs while we were traveling. The dogs and the house and my garden were all wonderfully taken care of. Thank you Jorie!

He lived literally ONE mile away from me. This made it easy to meet in advance of the sit and go over details. During this process, he told me he would have to leave soon. This gave me the impression it was a lower priority for him. Being 1 mile away, however brought up some things I hadn't experienced with sitters from out of town. He wanted to know if it was ok to have friends over to my apt. My cat is very shy and timid around strangers and I told him no. He wanted to cook in my kitchen. It was left very messy. 3 cupboard doors left open, food stains on the stove, counter and fridge. Pots, pans and utensils, he used were not put away. For a person who lives one mile away, these are both things I would have thought could have just as easily been done in his own space. Why did he need to use mine and leave it in this condition? He didn't clean out the cat brush, not sure if this was to prove he had brushed my cat. He left the litter scoop IN the litter box. An amateur move, this would make many cats NOT use the litter box. In the past my cat has stopped using the litter box for similar reasons. She is older and relies on steps to climb onto furniture to sit with me or to sleep with me. Cats, creatures of habit, are upset with changes and one of her steps was moved. She's old, the equivalent of a 90 yr old grandma who depends on these things being there for her in the same place. Without telling me he locked the chain on my front door from inside the apt. So I was unable to enter my apt from the front door. After a long trip home, after getting to my front door I discovered, I had to use the back door. Had he just mentioned that in advance it would have been nice. I left my keys in a lockbox and the lockbox was not returned to inside the apt like I asked. The management company has asked us NOT to leave those out. My internet device was left plugged in, I had asked in person and in writing, it be unplugged when not in use. I had asked that bedding not be removed from my bed, I prefer to do that myself as the bed frame is susceptible to easily being damaged. The bedding was left in a pile on the floor with a damp towel at the bottom of that pile. Personally I was taught, if you use something belonging to someone else, including their personal space, to return it to the same or better condition you found it. In my opinion, this was not done for my space and my things. Petcare felt to me, as if it was less than the top priority and that Andy is not very experienced with pet care. Overall, I was unhappy with Andy's care of my pet and my space.

Cailie was an amazing dog sitter for Rhu. She was very communicative and left my house cleaner than I left it. I definitely hope to connect in the future!
