It was an unforgettable stay. The location, the house, the animals - all of it will stay in our memories for a long time. Thank you to Julia and Frank for their hospitality, for the easy communication, and for the detailed, clear instructions that helped us have a smooth time. We highly recommend this stay if you are lucky enough to be invited.
Great experience! B is the best! She's a sweetheart. While she is shy, she is also interactive. She'll let you know when she's ready for a pet or to play. And she loves to play! She'd chase the toy on a stick and race around. She's a great cat. Sue is terrific. She made sure I was comfortable with everything in the house, had recommendations and brochures for the area (which is stunning), and was an overall great host. The cabin is a dream. And I could happily end each day on the porch watching sunset. If you're looking to get away to a quiet place with an adorable housemate, this is the place!
Mark and Wendy could not have been more welcoming when we arrived to house/cat sit for them. The house is so comfortable and warm, we had a lovely bedroom and the garden is peaceful to sit in with beautiful views over the countryside and not far from walks along the canal. Titch the cat is friendly and cuddly and we would not hesitate to sit for them again if we are able.
Looking after Castro was a delight from start to finish. Sue and David’s lovely old home is in a great location - a quiet neighbourhood street with easy access to the centre of Leederville and its cafes, shops, parks and entertainment. Public transport options are fantastic, with Perth CBD minutes away by bus. Sue and David were very warm and welcoming, providing clear instructions on Castro’s requirements, the house and garden. They made sure I was comfortable, stepped me through all aspects of the sit and were readily accessible while away. Then there’s Castro. What can I say? He stole my heart and I miss him ... incredibly easy to look after, sweet, full of personality, loves going on walks and just wants to be your buddy. Thank you Sue, David and Castro. I would repeat this experience in a heartbeat.
