Caroline and Patrick were absolutely wonderful hosts who definitely know how to make a guest feel like family. They were gracious, generous, and made the stay as warm and comfortable as possible. Their two cats, ChaCha and Percy, were an absolute delight as ChaCha dutifully stayed by my side and Percy became my instant best friend each moment a tasty treat presented itself :) Both were perfect little companions and an absolute pleasure to watch. The home sits in a quaint little town in the Alsace region of France, where vineyards line hillsides and the townspeople know everyone by name. This charming country villiage is a special place, as is this family, and any applicant would be lucky to have the pleasure of sitting for Patrick and Caroline!
This trio stole our hearts! Penny, Benji, and Peaches were an absolute pleasure to sit. They are a perfect combination of sweet and playful! Penny is always eager to walk, run, or play catch so we looked forward to our morning walks and afternoon visits to the off leash dog park not far away. Penny is loyal and stays close especially if you're holding the ball or frisbee. She is incredible loving and so so smart! Benji kept his distance for the first while, but on his own time, began to warm up and he allowed us to give him a gentle pet every now and then. Peaches is probably one of the cutest kittens around. She is spunky and so fun to have around. All three were easy to care for and will be missed! Our communication with Heather from the beginning was fantastic. She left thorough instructions so we were well prepared. Her home is extremely comfortable with everything we needed including plenty of food, toys, and little extras for Penny, Benji, and Peaches. The area has a beautiful pond with a walking loop that we looked forward to going on every morning with Penny. It is within walking distance of grocery stores, coffee shops and a few restaurants. We would highly recommend this sit to anyone!
WOW! This was such an amazing dream sit! Peanut is an absolute sweetheart and the most well-behaved dog ever! Communication with Norma & Jeff was top notch. They are gracious host and clearly went above and beyond to make me feel welcome and appreciated. The home is absolutely perfect - immaculate, comfortable, full of natural light with decks surrounded by lots of greenery. The neighborhood is pet friendly and very safe for dog walking. Loved having doggie poop bag dispensers with attached trash bins on every street corner in the community. So convenient. Now back to Peanut Peanut likes to take long naps. And if Peanut wants a back massage or a belly rub, she will adorably place her paws on your feet to get your attention or hop on your lap. There's no doubt Peanut stole my heart. She is one of the most well-mannered and happy dogs I’ve ever looked after. And I will miss her terribly. Consider yourself lucky if you get the chance to look after Peanut. This sit is a true gem and I would do it again in a heartbeat!
Had a great time staying in Berlin and taking care of Pushkin (Husky) and Luna (Chihuahua mix)! Courtney and Ana briefed us very well beforehand and were very quick and helpful in responding whenever we had any questions. The apartment is a typical Berlin apartment (2BR) and is located in a hip part of Berlin with many nice restaurants and bars close by. The dogs were easy to handle and well-trained. We ourselves didn’t have much prior experience with dogs in the city and so we think it might be important to point out that it was essential to plan our days around the dog’s walks especially because the apartment is not close to tourist attractions and public transport hubs. To exercise Pushkin we went on short runs (10-20mins) or to the nearby soccer field to throw the ball around which wore him out pretty quickly.
I had an incredible stay at Shannon’s. Her apartment is in a gorgeous, convenient, safe area, second story, with a parking space. Her place is clean and has everything you would need. Shannon is so sweet and is a phenomenal communicator, giving me any information I needed and always quick to respond if I had a question. (Shout out to Janie for also being the absolute sweetest and being someone else I could turn to should I need anything.) It was SUCH a treat to spend my time with Jones and Kevin. They are both such loving angels and easy to care for. I miss them already! And I enjoyed my walks with Jones so much that I’m determined to incorporate more walks into my daily life at home. I would absolutely recommend this sit to anyone considering. Thanks for everything Shannon ✨
We had a very nice stay at Susan’s! Her pets were shy at first but were jumping in our bed by nights 2/3. Her home was easy accessible, in a great neighborhood, and we enjoyed the privacy in her quaint yard as well. It was a great first sit for us and her simple suggestions definitely made our trip much more pleasant! Would be more than happy to sit at this home again. ❤️
