This was my first experience with TH after over 10 years with the same dog and cat minders so I was a bit anxious (one moved and the other had taken in an extra dog). I was very pleased with the first meet up with Karen and with her emails keeping me up to date. I was particularly grateful when Maggie (the cat) had a very short spell of 'losing her back legs'. Karen contacted me immediately and even filmed it for me. All turned out well and Maggie was deemed a healthy elderly lady at the vet visit when I got back and...the short video was helpful to the vets in assessing the problem. Linens were washed and folded, counters were clean, the house was tidy (and I can't say that that always applies to my housekeeping). And, best of all, Maggie and Sadie got some very good lap and alongside sitting while Karen watched tv in the evenings. Considering the opportunity for travel was just across town, I was happy and grateful to find her! Sharon
If you are reading this, you are considering Kirsten & Chris for your pets and home. Look no further!! We’ve had the pleasure of welcoming this couple as sitters for our zoo of pets… currently 3 cats and a dog… 5 times now. Please read my previous reviews too but suffice to say- they are the best pet sitters we’ve had. They are organized, reliable, kind, able to deal with aging pets, medical needs, and more. Our dog Sukha loves her long hikes and trips to play with other dogs at the dog park. Our old cat… 19 now… takes up residence on Kirsten’s lap and our boisterous but cats -aged 2- okay and purr and cuddle with both K&C. They are fine with a 50 pound dog sleeping on the bed and the elder cat sleeping right on top of them! We’ve come to consider this marvellous couple friends as well as sitters. We look forward to welcoming them again and again..and the pets all say 4 paws up, wags and purrs!
