Such a pleasant experience! Sky is adorable smart lady. She was very welcoming from the beginning and well behaved all way round. She likes all dog's basic entertainments: eating food, being outside with her human, banking on her couch, guarding her territory, and, sometimes, talking with the neighborhood dogs. Colin was very hospitable, provided us with a lift both ways, and gave us the best bedroom in the house. He kindly lent us the car as well. The last thing is essential here, as the place is quite rural. And even if you can get to the village easily by walking. Still, a car is very helpful. And we enjoyed it fully. As all places around are stunning and asking for discovery. A number of walk trails are also available in several km away from the house or village. One of it you can start right after the out of the gate. The house is comfortable. The garden is full of interesting plants. We have liked to spend there the dinner time. Just sitting on the stairs, looking at the hills, and hearing the voices of different birds was a precious experience. Thanks a lot.
I had a great time with Daisy. She is so sweet and loves cuddling and giving puppy kisses. She is friendly with everyone and does well on walks.
I had a wonderful time housesitting for Kira and Vuk for three days. Communication was easy, and I felt very welcomed into their home. They made sure I was comfortable and had everything I needed, which made this sit an incredible experience. Baghera was absolutely adorable; she was super friendly the moment I came in. We really bonded, and I miss her! She spent her days being affectionate, playing with her toys, and taking naps. Kira and Vuk’s apartment itself was an incredible space—quiet, safe, spacious, clean, and comfortable. It was an ideal environment to look after Baghera. The highlight of this sit was their neighbors, who were so nice and helpful that I felt very welcomed. The place has a beautiful view overlooking buildings of the old port. The location is incredible and a short walk from public transportation. Brian prepared 11 page user guide with home, Cleo and garden instructions. Communication was clear. They with Silvija were patient with some of my adventures along the way and always made sure that I have a pleasant stay. Even though it’s 1h away by public transportation from downtown, I enjoyed the gorgeous nature and the river there a lot. Don’t let 11 pages scare you, it ended up being not too much work (especially with the rainy weather). That’s a cool place to slow down, rest, rejuvenate from the craziness of the modern city.
We had a lovely week in Glasgow looking after Elsi. She was a dream to look after. She has a lovely personality and she was very affectionate. We loved looking after her. We met Helen beforehand and she made us very welcome. Helen's home is beautiful, very comfortable and in a great location for exploring the West End and the rest of Glasgow. We were able to catch up with lots of friends and family and would love to look after Elsi again sometime.
