Rachel stayed at our house for 6 weeks and took fantastic care of our two somewhat-needy cats as well as our house and yard! The experience was entirely positive, and we would not hesitate for an instant to have her back for another sit!! We confirmed Rachel as a long-term sitter for our two old men (cats) after reading her profile and reviews, and then having a Zoom meeting. She has the perfect combination of good humor, “laidbackness”, and seriousness when it came to caring for the cats. She was able to laugh at their weirdness (and they ARE weird), take mishaps in stride (litter box misses, etc.), provide their daily medications on schedule, and ask appropriate questions when things seemed a little off or she identified concerns. She has a presence that put us at ease immediately upon arrival, and the cats took to her very quickly. She asked us how often we would like updates, and how would we like them delivered, and then she provided them without fail at least as often as requested. We arrived home relaxed because we never worried about how things were going at home, and were happy to arrive to two healthy, happy cats, a well-kept yard, and a spotless(!!) house. As we said before, we would be thrilled to have Rachel sit for us again any time in the future, and we’re quite sure that Petey and Bucky would be excited to have her back as well!

Tom & Lori

Tom & Lori were a godsend. I would leave a hundred and five stars if I could. We were away for 22 days and this is the first time we really enjoyed our vacation cause I knew everything was looked after included our fur babies. Toby and Lexi say hello and say big thanks for all the cuddles & love you gave them. When we got back everything was perfect. Thanks for watering the plants and keeping the hummingbirds fed. The house was also perfect when we got back. We hope you enjoyed all the sights and sounds Nova Scotia has to offer. Thanks again Tom & Lori....you guys are awesome! If you get these lovely folks to look after your place and pets...you are really lucky!!

We have used zeewoi many times, and Sophia was one of our top sitters. She was flexible, reliable, personable and organized. We could see from the first minute that she has a way with animals, and we felt completely confident that our cat was in good hands while we were gone. In fact, I was sure he would be disappointed to see us return! Sophia took amazing care of Grey Cat, who is fairly laid back but definitely set in some of his ways. Our house was spotless and Sophia gets the award for having put everything back exactly where it belonged. We would love to have her back for another sit, and since we travel a lot, it’s not out of the question.

On a scale of 1 to 5 (with 5 as best) we would rate Maria and Lu as 12 or better. They should be the poster people for all house/pet sitters. They dealt with a difficult situation when the Koi began to spawn and left the house better than they found it. They seemed to enjoy their stay and our dog loved them. They even did extra chores above and beyond such as cleaning the BBQ, changing light bulbs, and organizing the garage. Communication was excellent and they even left several home cooked meals for us so that we would not have to cook on our first day back. We invited them back for another stay in August and they accepted. We feel that we not only found great sitters, but great friends that we hope to see often in the future.

Sara and her family were wonderful! Sara was very responsive and thoughtful in coordinating the details of what was needed. My older dog Lucy was quite pampered with extra walks and treats. I appreciated getting updates throughout the week to assure me things were going well. And a bonus, her husband Tom fixed our dryer so it vented properly. They left the house extremely near and tidy with clean beds made up. I would recommend Sara and her family in a heartbeat.

Chloe was a lovely sitter. She cared for all of our animals and our home like they were her own. She was flexible in her timing, very communicative (sending updates and photos) and helped us out with our crate training/ our pup that has separation anxiety. She left our home clean and even left us a super sweet parting gift. We’d have her back anytime!

Joshua (and his son!) did an amazing job caring for our cats. His affinity for animals really shines through. We weren't able to meet in person coming or going, but Joshua was very communicative throughout the stay so we knew things were going well! We came home to a clean home and very happy and healthy kitties. We would highly recommend Joshua and happily have him back in the future!

If you are lucky enough to have Danielle and Brodin stay with your furry friend, everyone is in for a treat! Not only did they keep the house immaculate, they were a pleasure to deal with, always timely and informative. Their dog Chia was a great friend for Bucky, and super easygoing. Danielle, Brodin, and Chia are all pros at house sitting, and it shows. I would not hesitate to have them back again, and I know Bucky would love it even more. There is nothing like coming home to a happy, tired pet, and a clean home!!! Wonderful experience all around.

Lauren was very sweet, communicative, and flexible. Our dog immediately warmed to her. My husband and I weren’t as put together and communicative as we should have been, which led to a couple of miscommunications, but at the end of the day, our boys were well-taken care of. I think with clear directives, Lauren is an excellent sitter.

Susie and Scott were great petsitters! They have a clear love for dogs and kept them happy with attention and exercise. They tended to our garden and left our house tidy and clean. Jools

This was the most wonderful reset and recharge for me. Phillip and Jools are the kindest people and tolf me everything I needed to know, I truly enjoyed it so much. The home is beautiful and comfortable with practically unlimited green space. All of the dogs are so sweet and affectionate, a testament to Jools work with them :)

Gus, the little big baby is a little lover! Henry and digby the little guys are so smart and sweet. Dexter and storm the Labradors are very smart, soft and kind dogs who love to play fetch with a tennis ball - big competition there! They all get along wonderfully and listened to me every single time. I am so jealous of their life I almost asked for my own heated paddock to be added on so I never had to leave ;)

All of the chickens produced me the most delicious eggs ever and the geese warmed up to me soon enough. It was sweet to see them frolicking in the pool :) the kitties are so cuddly and loving and I thoroughly enjoyed the snuggles at night and throughout the days. Tango left me a birdie surprise he loved me so much ;)

In close proximity are the quaint and friendly towns of Redruth and Truro which both had much to offer. St Ives was a short 30 minute journey with a bus stop literally outside the door. It was absolutely beautiful and I loved it.

Thank you for going out of your way to get me home and arranging a lift for me on my last day :) I loved my time with your fur and feather family and am happy to say I made two wonderful new human friends as well!! I would come back anytime and highly recommend this sit to anyone. It may look daunting as a single person but I encourage you to do it - it was therapeutic to be working with my hands all weekend as a frontline worker :)

I had such a wonderful time minding sweet Henrietta. She is such an intelligient bird and kept me entertained the whole time. To have her sit with me and jump around me as I worked was really a special experience for me. And Louise was also great. Always in communication and happy to answer any questions I had for understanding Henrietta's needs better.
