I spent about a week sitting for Harriet, Gerard, Roger and Goose. Harriet and Gerard are wonderful hosts, very friendly and kind. We had the opportunity to meet prior to the sit so we could get to know each other and I immediately felt at home. Communication was excellent before and during the sit and a thorough welcome guide/notes were provided. Their home is beautiful and has all mod cons and everything you need. My bedroom was perfect with en-suite, really quiet and a very comfortable bed!! Harriet and Gerard are so thoughtful, and provided me with food cupboard space, fridge shelves, freezer compartment, bedroom draws and hanging areas....something many host forget! These details were really appreciated. Lighthorne is a lovely village, with a great pub (highly recommend 2 for 1 Pizza night on Tuesday!) great walks from the doorstep. Lighthorne is within easy access of Leamington Spa, Warwick, Stratford Upon Avon and the Cotswolds. The stars of the show are Roger and Goose. Both adorable with different, loveable personalities. Goose loves to play and chase his ball during the walks. Roger does his own thing but always checks to see if you are there. They love tummy rubs and cuddles and plenty of love watching TV in the evening :) They really are wonderful dogs and no trouble at all to look after. If you want a sit with wonderful hosts, in a great location with two adorable dogs then I highly recommend this sit. If available I would certainly sit again :)
