Katherine was a fantastic pet/house sitter who I would recommend to anybody looking. She took wonderful care of my home and my dog, even bathing him the day before I got back. The sheets were clean and changed and my home looked spotless.
I can’t fault the care Emily and Raul gave our pets. They made friends with our nervous dog Zelda almost immediately, which pretty much never happens, and she’s been friendlier with other new people as a result. They gave our blind cat supervised outside time to help calm him down which we didn’t leave as a requirement, and our other cat who needed medication while we were gone also seemed happy and healthy when we returned. We were away for a month and they gave us updates about once per week which was really nice. They were also responsive and organised in the lead up to the sit. We also enjoyed getting to know them over dinner the night before we left, and we’re thankful for the bottle of wine they left for us! The only thing I’d mark them down for slightly is that the house wasn’t particularly well cleaned when we arrived home. Just a couple of things like leftovers in the fridge, dirty trays in the oven and some stains on the rug. There was also a bit of damage (obviously caused by the animals) but it maybe would have been nice to be warned about it before we arrived home or in a note or something as we didn’t have a cross over with them at the end of the sit. Regardless of the cleaning, I’d still welcome them to our home again as our animals were so well looked after :)
