I'm the Georgia Lake side of Cynthia's travels! Have been blessed to stay with the kitties several times there. You are in a gorgeous home right on the lake. The Kitties go out in the yard and love circling the lake side. They are all amazingly good at coming in when you call them. I spend the time walking the yard and losing myself in the beautiful sunrises and sunsets. Other than a grocery run I am totally content to stay home and read, play with the kitties and admire the views! And great internet and every TV you can want. A very special place with a wonderful hostess!
Buddy and Hazel are super sweet cats. It took a couple days for them to warm up to someone new in the house but they were very pleasant. The house and guest room were very clean, pleasant and relaxing and I had everything I needed. The downtown and beach are a short drive. Phil left very clear instructions for the care of the cats and was very easy to communicate with.
We had a very enjoyable two weeks pet sitting Rusty in beautiful Bowral. He loves to play fetch the ball and is a great walking companion when exploring the various walking tracks in the area. Christine's home was comfortable, had a lovely garden and was well situated for walking into town. Christine maintained contact during the sit if we needed anything and even introduced us to her friends at the local dog park before leaving. We would happily sit for Rusty and Christne again.
What a wonderful month in Kanab! I missed Esme the minute I left. She’s a sassy but sweet cat and we really bonded during my time there. Tory and Erez went above and beyond with giving me tips to explore and see all that Kanab and the surrounding areas have to offer. Their home is beautiful, comfortable, in a great location, and they were so generous in sharing items in the house. And they were so easy to communicate with on whatsapp while they were away. Anyone would be lucky to sit for this lovely family! I hope to make it back to Kanab very soon!
Mojo was absolutely amazing and such a pleasure to spend time with. He was my little buddy, my little shadow. From sleeping together, to cuddling, playing, and going on long walks together, Mojo was absolutely the best.
Amy and Ben LOVE their doggies and made sure I was fully welcomed and introduced to them (and to their beautiful home). They were very clear about everything and this made the sitting really confortable and easy. The dogs were absolutely lovely.

Can not recommend Barking Mad enough, Alison was so helpful, kind and reassuring throughout the whole process. The communication was excellent and I felt confident that my boys would be well looked after. Our host had obviously cared very much for our dogs and they were clearly happy in the picture updates we got and when they arrived home. This was our first experience with Barking Mad but will be booking again next year. Thank you so very much I felt that I could relax on holiday especially with the emails to keep me updated.
Having used barking Mad I wouldn't be happy to leave my dog anywhere else. My dog Molly always has an amazing holiday staying with her host family and we always looking forward to reading about what she got up to! Frustratingly, she hasn't had the best year health wise and Alison has always found perfect hosts who have been able to cater to her specific needs. Alison provides a first rate service every time. I love Barking Mad.
Julie is great,totally put our mind at rest going off on holiday and is professional and friendly and obviously passionate about dogs. Wesley has had a great time with his hosts Pam & Graham and receiving the lovely feedback from them made our day and we hope they will be available for future stays. We have been using Barking Mad for a couple of years and will continue to as it's a great idea and a service that both us and Wesley love. Totally reccomend.
My 10 year old beagle Izzy recently had her second stay with Barking Mad and this time was hosted by Gill and Alan. The booking process with Alison was once again very friendly and professional and it was very reassuring that Izzy was being cared for in a home from home environment! She clearly had a wonderful stay as she arrived home looking great and very happy. Thank you Gill for taking good care of Izzy!
I tried my dog in kennels but she came back a nervous wreck so when I was going on holiday I was recommended Barking Mad as an alternative. The whole process was fantastic. Hetty came back in a relaxed and happy state and had clearly had a great time with her host. I was given a lovely letter telling me everything she'd been doing. I would highly recommend Alison and Barking Mad.

We've used Barking Mad for several years and trust them implicitly. However on this last holiday, the service, support and assistance was simply outstanding. Teddy had been unwell with eye problems, we pre-agreed the treatment plan before we went ...it was followed to the letter, and on our return the little chap was better....it was like have a new car delivered on our return! As a host this past year I would like to say how much we enjoy having our holiday dogs to stay such fun and dog walking great for exercise! Alison who runs Barking Mad is a really caring person and always manages to match the dog to the host .We love every minute of it.

We call Aunty Nic the “Dog Whisperer” because she is so brilliant with our sighthound Walter. Aunty Nic has looked after him when we go away for years now and we wouldn’t send him anywhere else. He comes home happy, tired and looking like he’s spent time at a health farm. Her videos of the dog walks are great to watch when you’re away and it’s wonderful to see the dogs in the pack, running around and having fun. Walter must think his life at home with us is boring compared to the fun he has with Aunty Nic and her dogs. We like the fact that Walter stays in Aunty Nic’s house with her dogs. Being in a pack in great for him. Now, we check Aunty Nic has availability to look after Walter before we book a holiday.
Couldn’t recommend enough!! Nic has always been very accommodating. Our labradoodle, Brenda has always been so well looked after and has a great time every week. She also loves staying over on her holidays as it’s like her second home!! Thank you for everything Nic!
I have a lovely, rather old Spanish rescue dog that doesn't like me going anywhere without her. The last thing I wanted was to put her back into a kennel environment when we go away. I am so glad I found Aunty Nic! She is the answer to all our worries! Nicola is a thoroughly professional and reliable animal carer who takes our dog on amazing walks all about the place and welcomes her into her home as part of the pack! To top it all off, she sends plenty of photos and videos of our dog having fun, relaxing, exploring and eating to put our minds at ease. Upon our return, our dog is always happy and relaxed. I would recommend Aunty Nic to anyone who should ask.
Our dog Brenda loves going on her holidays to Nics just as much as we love going away, it almost feels like she doesn’t want to come home! Nic has helped us with training and food choices, as well as walking her every week. We have tried others but nobody has come close to the service Nic provides! 5 starts really isn’t enough!
Nicola is an excellent dog walker and home boarder. Our dog Fudge loves her and is so excited when she comes to take her for a walk. When we go away we know Fudge is well looked after which gives us peace of mind. We are sent videos and photos when we are away which is lovely to have. I would highly recommend Aunty Nic to any dog owner.

Nicola is everything you could ask for when it comes to looking after your much loved pets. Nicola walks my dog Ali three times a week, she picks her up, drops her off hassle free, and I get pictures of their daily adventures around Cumbria to my desk! Nicola is much more than a dog walker though, with animals of her own she offers adventure and the great outdoors to your pet. Ali overnights with Nicola when we go away and loves her time with Aunty Nicola so much she often refuses to get out of Nic’s car on the return home! Nicola is knowledgeable about all animals, caring and will go above and beyond for all of her clients and the individual care she offers to your pet could not be matched anywhere else.
Nicola looked after my house, horses, cat, dog, guinea pigs and fish when I went on holiday. Previously I had to take an extra day off on annual leave to deliver them to cattery, holiday livery etc. and the same when I returned. It was so much easier this time as all the animals stayed at home and I felt better that there was someone going to my house on a regular basis too. The animals were all well cared for and my house was clean and tidy with all the post taken in plus the lawn mowed! Nicola also met with my horse's physiotherapist for me for his appointment while I was away and my dog thinks she is the best thing ever. Having done this once, I will do this every time in future - it was also cheaper than taking them all separately!
Bloody brilliant. I have a sighthound and he wouldn't cope in generic kennels so when I found out Nicola did home boarding I knew she'd know how to handle my boy as she has Sighthounds herself. I love seeing the videos and pictures she sends me of my lad having fun with her hounds and others and I know he's in safe hands. ❤️❤️❤️

My cat Mittens recently stayed at Greenbank Boarding Kennels & Cattery, and I could not be more impressed! From the moment I dropped her off, the staff made me feel at ease, asking detailed questions about Mittens' habits, dietary needs, and any special care requirements. The facilities were clean, spacious, and secure, with plenty of cozy napping areas and playtime activities to keep the cats entertained. When I picked Mittens up after my week-long trip, she seemed healthy, content, and well-cared for. The staff provided me with notes about her daily activity and appetite. You could tell they take pride in getting to know each cat's personality. I'm so grateful to have found a cattery I can fully trust when I need to travel. Greenbank's caring staff, excellent accommodations, and attention to detail give me peace of mind that Mittens is in great hands. Our 4 girls Maisy Millie Molly Miley recently stayed at Greenbank Boarding Kennels & Cattery, and I could not be more impressed ! Any dietary needs, or special requirements are asked & taken care of. When I picked the girls up after there weekend stay they seemed content, and well-cared for. The staff provided me with pics on thier daily activity. **Review for Greenbank Kennels** I've used Greenbank Kennels twice now for my two pedigreed cats, Booboo and Amy. As a university student, I needed a safe place for them while I found a pet-friendly home, and Greenbank Kennels has been a lifesaver. The first time was for a month, and the second time, Booboo and Amy stayed for three months. Every time, they came back healthy, happy, and a bit chubbier, which shows they were well-fed and taken care of. There's always plenty of food, and the prices are really reasonable. What I love about Greenbank Kennels is their setup. They have both indoor and outdoor sections, so my cats got to run around and explore bigger spaces. It's clear they got plenty of exercise and didn't feel cooped up. The staff at Greenbank Kennels is fantastic. They sent me updates about Booboo and Amy regularly, without me even having to ask. It was so reassuring to know my cats were in good hands. Overall, Greenbank Kennels is just the best place to leave your cats for long stays. The care, the facilities, the prices, and the communication are all top-notch. I can't recommend them enough!
When you take a cat to the Cattery you pay for a duty of care, you expect to pick your cat up when you return from your holiday, not to have to spend days searching, calling her name hoping she may appear. I am so sad, she was a lovely affectionate 3 year old female cat, who escaped from a tiny hole in her cage at the cattery on the first day. Its now 11 days since she went missing. I feel now I will never see her again. Why did I choose this cattery, why was it not secure
I find this is a caring place and they take every precaution to look after animals. I have no concerns about recommending this place. My cat is always well cared for.
Our 2 dogs have just come home from a week in the kennels and we are so pleased to see how happy they are. Genuinely the most relaxed they have ever been when they have been in kennels anywhere. So glad to have discovered Greenback Kennels, it gives us peace of mind knowing that they were happy there, which you can just see in their behaviour since coming home. And they don't smell of anything. Not doggy or of perfume. Brilliant, thank you so much. Thoroughly recommend
1st time my 2 dogs one aged 13 other 6 have been in kennels. The staff are very friendly and helpful. On collection the dogs had been well fed had lots of exercise and were well cared for. I would definitely use these kennels again. Very happy.
I have just collected my animals and they didn't want to come home! They have always been anxious going into other kennels in the past and have come out desperate to come home, not this time! I'm glad we decided to try green bank and wish we had done so years ago! My dogs were full of joy( in fact were out walking when I arrived) . The staff always have a warm welcome for you and especially the animals. They are fully trained and understanding to specific animal needs. I have an elderly dog who is on medication and requires a lot of one on one care just in her daily routine and she was so happy and comfortable here, they gave her 5 star attention! As for my cats! What can I say they were happy sunning themselves in the outdoor run watching the world go by. The cats cottage is lovely and homely, warm and cozy and my cats were very content! I would recommend greenbank to anyone and I have booked again for all my animals for a 2 week stay in august. Now I can finally go away knowing my pets are in great hands and more importantly happy! We've been taking our dogs to Grassgarth for over ten years and absolutely love the place. Having lived up and down the country and overseas we've experienced all kinds of kennels and Grassgarth is very, very good. I have no doubt that Hilary and the staff care genuinely for the dogs they look after (and the same for the cats, I'm sure). I can wholeheartedly recommend Grassgarth.
Absolutely brilliant kennels, our dog Lilly loves it here, and Hillary is so caring. We also used the wedding chaperone service and it was all perfect, Lilly got to enjoy our wedding with us, and Hillary looked after her so well and made sure she went back to the kennels when needed xx the best service and we will definitely use the kennels again
Excellent!!!! Our border collie had his first time at a boarding kennel and he came back really happy, well groomed and smelling amazing. The care they gave him was superb. They gave him all the medication he needed and sent me update pictures through the week! They have my full trust and will be using them again.

Our dogs seem to enjoy their stays here. They come home in good condition. They get time with other dogs and exercise off the lead. The kennels are heated and nice enough. The staff are reassuring and professional.

We took our collie dog to use the agility park, the park is fantastic, there are jumps, tunnels, "A" frames, a see saw and weave poles, our dog loved it and we will be coming back every week!
Excellent kennels, decent value for money for the service. They also have a dog agility park you can hire which is great if you need to do training or just have an anxious dog that needs a run.

Our dog Peggy regularly goes to Dog Tales and absolutely loves it. The staff are professional, friendly, and reliable. Peggy is always super excited to see the staff. We feel safe in the knowledge that Karen and the staff are looking after her and the other dogs, making sure they have a safe and fun filled day playing in the field and going for walks. Can't recommend them highly enough!
Our dog absolutely loves her weekly visits to Dog Tales, Karen and the girls are so lovely and Peggie loves spending time with them. She always comes home tired after an eventful fun day, highly recommend for socialising your dog.
